ع، علل الشرائع ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخَشَّابِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ كَرَّامٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع لَوْ كَانَ النَّاسُ رَجُلَيْنِ لَكَانَ أَحَدُهُمَا الْإِمَامَ
وَ قَالَ إِنَّ آخِرَ مَنْ يَمُوتُ الْإِمَامُ لِئَلَّا يَحْتَجَّ أَحَدُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ تَرْكَهُ بِغَيْرِ حُجَّةٍ.
(The book) ‘Illal Al Sharaie’ – Ibn Idrees, form his father, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad al Khashab, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad, from Karram who said, ‘Abu Abdullah-asws said: ‘If the people were (only) two men, one of the two would be the Imam-asws’. And he-asws said: ‘The last one to be passing away would be the Imam-asws, lest one of them could argue against Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic he was left without a Divine Authority (to guide him)’’. [21]
