كنز، كنز جامع الفوائد و تأويل الآيات الظاهرة مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُقْدَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حراش [خِرَاشٍ] قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا عَلِيٌّ فِي الرَّحْبَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّهُ لَمَّا كَانَ فِي زَمَانِ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ خَرَجَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص أُنَاسٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ مِنْ أَشْرَافِ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ فِيهِمْ سُهَيْلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو
فَقَالُوا يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَنْتَ جَارُنَا وَ حَلِيفُنَا وَ ابْنُ عَمِّنَا وَ لَقَدْ لَحِقَ بِكَ أُنَاسٌ مِنْ آبَائِنَا وَ إِخْوَانِنَا وَ أَقَارِبِنَا لَيْسَ بِهِمُ التَّفَقُّهُ فِي الدِّينِ وَ لَا رَغْبَةٌ فِيمَا عِنْدَكَ وَ لَكِنْ إِنَّمَا خَرَجُوا فِرَاراً مِنْ ضِيَاعِنَا وَ أَعْمَالِنَا وَ أَمْوَالِنَا فَارْدُدْهُمْ عَلَيْنَا
فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ انْظُرْ فِيمَا يَقُولُونَ فَقَالَ صَدَقُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَ أَنْتَ جَارُهُمْ فَارْدُدْهُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ
قَالَ ثُمَّ دَعَا عُمَرَ فَقَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ لَا تَنْتَهُونَ يَا مَعْشَرَ قُرَيْشٍ حَتَّى يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلًا امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ لِلتَّقْوَى يَضْرِبُ رِقَابَكُمْ عَلَى الدِّينِ
فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا فَقَامَ عُمَرُ فَقَالَ أَنَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا وَ لَكِنَّهُ خَاصِفُ النَّعْلِ وَ أَنَا كُنْتُ أَخْصِفُ نَعْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص
قَالَ ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيْنَا عَلِيٌّ ع فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص يَقُولُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّداً فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ.
(The books) ‘Kunz Jamie Al Fawaid’ and ‘Taweel Al Ayaat Al Zaahira’ – Muhammad Bin Al Abbas, from Ibn Uqda, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Al Munzir Bin Ja’far Bin Al Hakam, from his father, from Mansour Bin Al Mo’tamar, from Rabie Bin Harash who said, ‘Ali-asws addressed us at Al-Rahba, then said: ‘When it was the time of Al-Hudeybiya, some people from Quraysh from the nobles of the people of Makkah, came out to Rasool-Allah-saww, among them was Suheyl Bin Amro. They said, ‘O Muhammad-saww! You-saww are our neighbour, and our ally, and son-saww of our uncle-asws, and some people from our forefathers and our brethren and our relatives have joined up with you-saww. There isn’t the understanding for them regarding the Religion, nor desired regarding what is with you-saww, but rather they came out fleeing from our forfeitures, and our works, and our wealth. So, return them to us’. Rasool-Allah-saww called Abu Bakr and said to him: ‘Look into what they are saying’. He said, ‘They are speaking the truth, O Rasool-Allah-saww, and you-saww are their neighbour, so return them unto them’. He-asws said, ‘Then he-saww called Umar and he said words similar to Abu Bakr. At that, Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘You will not desist, O community of Quraysh, until Allah-azwj Sends a man unto you all, whose heart Allah-azwj has Tested for the piety. He-asws will strike your necks upon the religion’. Abu Bakr said, ‘I am he, O Rasool-Allah-saww! ’ He-saww said: ‘No’. So Umar stood up and said, ‘I am he, O Rasool-Allah-saww! ’ He-saww said: ‘No, but he is repairer of the slipper’, and I-asws was repairing a slipper of Rasool-Allah-saww’. He (the narrator) said, ‘Then Ali-asws turned towards us and said, ‘I-asws heard Rasool-Allah-saww saying: ‘One who belies Ali-asws deliberately, so let him assume his seat from the Fire’’. [172]
