Hadith 57

(The book) ‘Al Amaali’ of the sheykh Al Tusi – Al Mufeed, from Muhammad Bin Usman Al Sayrafi, from Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al Allaf, from Muhammad Bin Yaqoub Al Deynawary, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al Balawy, from Umarah Bin Zayd, from Bakr Bin Haris Al Zuhry, from Abdul Rahman Bin Ka’ab Bin Malik, from Jabir Bin Abdullah who said, ‘I heard Ali-asws prosing (a poem), and Rasool-Allah-saww was listening: ‘I-asws am the brother-asws of Al-Mustafa-saww, there is no doubt in my-asws lineage. I-asws was nourished with him-saww, and his-saww two grandsons-asws, they-asws are my-asws sons-asws. My-asws grandfather-as and grandfather-as of Rasool-Allah-saww are one individual, and (Syeda) Fatima-asws is my-asws wife-asws. I-asws am not saying with depletion (of merits). The Praise is for Allah-azwj, thanking, there being no associate for Him-azwj, Kind with the servants, and the remainder are without longevity’’. He (the narrator) said, ‘Rasool-Allah-saww smiled and said: ‘You-asws speak the truth, O Ali-asws’’. [68]
