جا، المجالس للمفيد الْجِعَابِيُّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَلَفٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْأَشْقَرِ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص يَا أَنَسُ ادْعُ لِي سَيِّدَ الْعَرَبِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَ لَسْتَ سَيِّدَ الْعَرَبِ قَالَ أَنَا سَيِّدُ وُلْدِ آدَمَ وَ عَلِيٌّ سَيِّدُ الْعَرَبِ
فَدَعَا عَلِيّاً فَلَمَّا جَاءَ عَلِيٌّ ع قَالَ يَا أَنَسُ ادْعُ لِيَ الْأَنْصَارَ فَجَاءُوا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ هَذَا عَلِيٌّ سَيِّدُ الْعَرَبِ فَأَحِبُّوهُ لِحُبِّي وَ أَكْرِمُوهُ لِكَرَامَتِي فَإِنَّ جَبْرَئِيلَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَ عَزَّ مَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ.
(The book) ‘Al Majaalis’ of Al Mufeed – Al Jiany, from Ali Bin Ismail, from Muhammad Bin Khalaf, from Husayn Al Ashqar, from Qays Bin Al Rabie, from his father, from Abdul Al Rahman Bin Abu Layli, ‘From Al-Husayn-asws Bin Ali-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘O Anas! Call chief of the Arabs to me-saww! ’ He said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! Aren’t you-saww chief of the Arabs? ’ He-saww said: ‘I-saww am chief of the children of Adam-as, and Ali-asws is chief of the Arabs’. He called Ali-asws. When Ali-asws came, he-saww said: ‘O Anas! Call the Helpers to me-saww! ’ They came. The Prophet-saww said: ‘O community of Helpers! This Ali-asws is chief of the Arabs, so love him-asws for my-saww love, and honour him-asws for my-saww honour, for Jibraeel-as has informed me-saww from Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic, what I-saww am saying to you all’’. [74]
