وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ كَانَ يَجْلِسُ عَلَى بِسَاطِهِ وَ يَسِيرُ فِي الْهَوَاءِ فَمَرَّ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَ هُوَ سَائِرٌ فِي أَرْضِ كَرْبَلَاءَ فَأَدَارَتِ الرِّيحُ بِسَاطَهُ ثَلَاثَ دَوْرَاتٍ حَتَّى خَافَ السُّقُوطَ فَسَكَنَتِ الرِّيحُ وَ نَزَلَ الْبِسَاطُ فِي أَرْضِ كَرْبَلَاءَ
فَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ لِلرِّيحِ لِمَ سَكَنْتِي فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ هُنَا يُقْتَلُ الْحُسَيْنُ ع فَقَالَ وَ مَنْ يَكُونُ الْحُسَيْنُ فَقَالَتْ هُوَ سِبْطُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُخْتَارِ وَ ابْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْكَرَّارِ
فَقَالَ وَ مَنْ قَاتِلُهُ قَالَتْ لَعِينُ أَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ يَزِيدُ فَرَفَعَ سُلَيْمَانُ يَدَيْهِ وَ لَعَنَهُ وَ دَعَا عَلَيْهِ وَ أَمَّنَ عَلَى دُعَائِهِ الْإِنْسُ وَ الْجِنُّ فَهَبَّتِ الرِّيحُ وَ سَارَ الْبِسَاطُ.
And it is reported –
‘Suleyman-as was seated upon his-as carpet and travelling in the air. One day he-as passed by travelling in the land of Karbala and the wind circled with his-as carpet, three circuits, until he-as feared the falling. The wind calmed and the carpet descended in the land of Karbala. Suleyman-as said to the wind: ‘Why did you settle me-as? ’ It said, ‘Over here Al-Husayn-asws would be killed’. He-as said: ‘And who would Al-Husayn-as happen to be? ’ It said, ‘He-asws is a grandson of Muhammad-saww the Chosen, and son-asws of Ali-asws the persistent attacker’. He-as said: ‘And who would kill him-asws? ’ It said, ‘The one cursed by the people of the skies and the earth, Yazeed-la’. So Suleyman-as raised his-as hand and cursed him-la, and the Jinn and the humans said, ‘Ameen’ to his-as supplication. The wind came down and the carpet travelled’’. [241]
