Hadith 118

(The book) ‘Al Kharaij Wa Al Jaraih’ – From Ibrahim Bin Musa Al Qazaz, ‘And he used to lead Salat in the Masjid of Al-Reza-asws. He said, ‘I insisted upon Al-Reza-asws regarding something I sought from him. He-asws went out facing one of the students, and the time of Salat came. He-asws inclined to a building over there and descended beneath a rock nearby to the building, and I was with him-asws, and there wasn’t a third (person) with us. He-asws said: ‘Proclaim Azaan! ’ I said, ‘Wait until our companions join with us’. He-asws said: ‘May Allah-azwj Forgive you! Do not delay a Salat from its first timings up to its last timing, from without there being a reason upon you. Begin with the first timing’. So, I proclaimed Azaan and we prayed Salat. I said, ‘O son-asws of Rasool-Allah-saww! The period has prolonged regarding the appointment which you-asws had promised it, and I am needy, and you-asws are busy a lot, and I cannot win with asking you-asws every time’. He (the narrator) said, ‘He-asws scraped the ground with intense scraping, then he-asws struck his-asws hand to the place of the scraping and extracted a gold ingot. He-asws said: ‘Take it, may Allah-azwj Bless you in it, and benefit with it, and conceal what you have seen’. He (the narrator) said, ‘There were Blessings in it for me until I got at Khurasan what was its price, seventy thousand Dinars. I became richest of the people from the ones like me over there! ’’[125]
