قُرْبُ الْإِسْنَادِ، عَنِ السِّنْدِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ع أَنَّ قَبْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص رُفِعَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ قَدْرَ شِبْرٍ وَ أَرْبَعِ أَصَابِعَ وَ رُشَّ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءُ
قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع وَ السُّنَّةُ أَنْ يُرَشَّ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ الْمَاءُ.
(The book) ‘Qurb Al Isnaad’ – from Al Sindy Bin Muhammad, from Abu Al Bakhtari, ‘From Ja’far-asws, from his-asws father-asws, from Ali-asws: ‘The grave of Rasool-Allah-saww was raised from the ground a measurement of a hand span and four fingers, and the water was sprinkled upon it’. ‘Ali-asws said: ‘And the Sunnah is that the water be sprinkled upon the grave’’. [59]
