الْبَلَدُ، وَ الْجُنَّةُ، جنة الأمان وَ الملحقات، دُعَاءٌ آخَرُ لِلسَّجَّادِ ع- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ اللَّيْلَ مُظْلِماً بِقُدْرَتِهِ وَ جَاءَ بِالنَّهَارِ مُبْصِراً بِرَحْمَتِهِ وَ كَسَانِي ضِيَاءَهُ وَ أَنَا فِي نِعْمَتِهِ
اللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي لَهُ فَأَبْقِنِي لِأَمْثَالِهِ وَ صَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ لَا تَفْجَعْنِي فِيهِ وَ فِي غَيْرِهِ مِنَ اللَّيَالِي وَ الْأَيَّامِ بِارْتِكَابِ الْمَحَارِمِ وَ اكْتِسَابِ الْمَآثِمِ وَ ارْزُقْنِي خَيْرَهُ وَ خَيْرَ مَا فِيهِ وَ خَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ وَ اصْرِفْ عَنِّي شَرَّهُ وَ شَرَّ مَا فِيهِ وَ شَرَّ مَا بَعْدَهُ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي بِذِمَّةِ الْإِسْلَامِ أَتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيْكَ وَ بِحُرْمَةِ الْقُرْآنِ أَعْتَمِدُ عَلَيْكَ وَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ الْمُصْطَفَى ص أَسْتَشْفِعُ لَدَيْكَ
فَاعْرِفِ اللَّهُمَّ ذِمَّتِيَ الَّتِي رَجَوْتُ بِهَا قَضَاءَ حَاجَتِي يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ اقْضِ لِي فِي الْخَمِيسِ خَمْساً لَا يَتَّسِعُ لَهَا إِلَّا كَرَمُكَ وَ لَا يُطِيقُهَا إِلَّا نِعَمُكَ سَلَامَةً أَقْوَى بِهَا عَلَى طَاعَتِكَ وَ عِبَادَةً أَسْتَحِقُّ بِهَا جَزِيلَ مَثُوبَتِكَ وَ سَعَةً فِي الْحَالِ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ الْحَلَالِ وَ أَنْ تُؤْمِنَنِي فِي مَوَاقِفِ الْخَوْفِ بِأَمْنِكَ وَ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنْ طَوَارِقِ الْهُمُومِ وَ الْغُمُومِ فِي حِصْنِكَ
وَ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اجْعَلْهُ لِي شَافِعاً وَ اجْعَلْ تَوَسُّلِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ نَافِعاً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
(The book) ‘Al Balad’, and ‘Junnat Al Amaan’, and ‘Al Mulhaqaat’ –
‘Another supplication of (Imam) Al-Sajjad-asws – ‘In the Name of Allah-azwj the Beneficent, the Merciful! The Praise is for Allah-azwj Who Causes the dark night to go by His-azwj Power and Comes with the day, clear, by His-azwj Mercy, and Clothed me its illumination, and I am in His‑azwj bounties! O Allah-azwj! Just as You-azwj have Caused me to remain for it, Cause me to remain for its like, and Send Salawaat upon the Prophet-saww Muhammad-saww, and do not Agonise me during it and in others from the nights and the days, by my indulging in the Prohibitions, and earning the sins, and Grace me its good and goodness what is in it, and good of what is after it, and Turn away from me its evil and evil of what is in it, and evil of what is after it! O Allah-azwj! I am in the guarantee of seeking means to You-azwj, and by sanctity of the Quran! I rely upon You-azwj and with Muhammad-saww the Chosen one, seeking intercession in Your-azwj Presence! So, Recognise, O Allah-azwj, my guarantee which I have hoped with by Fulfilling my needs, O most Merciful of the merciful ones! O Allah-azwj! Decree five for me during the Thursday nothing is capacious for it except Your-azwj Benevolence, nor endure it except Your-azwj except Your-azwj bounties – safety I can be strengthened with upon obeying You-azwj, and worship I can be deserving with Your-azwj plentiful Rewards, and vastness in the Permissible from the Permissible sustenance, and to Secure me in pausing of the fear by Your-azwj Safety, and Make me from ones shielded from the worries and the sadness in Your-azwj Fortification! And Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww and Make an interceder for me, and Make my means to be beneficial on the Day of Qiyamah, surely You‑azwj are most Merciful of the merciful ones! ’’[54]
