Hadith 4

(The book) ‘Majaalis’ of the Sheykh, from a group, from Abu Al Mufazzal, from Humeyd, from Al Qasim Bin Ismail, from Zureyq, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws, he (the narrator) said, ‘It was so, sometimes Abu Abdullah-asws preceded with twenty Cycles of Salat on the day of Friday in the middle of the day. When it was at decline of the sun (midday), he-asws proclaimed Azaan and sat down for a while. Then he-asws stood up and prayed Al-Zohr Salat, and he-asws did not view any Salat at decline of the sun except for the obligatory, nor did he-asws preceded any Salat before the obligatory when the sun declined, and he-asws had said: ‘The first Salat Allah-azwj had Obligated upon the servants is Al-Zohr Salat on the day of Friday, with the midday. And Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘For every Salat there is a first and a last for the reason of pre-occupation, apart from the Friday Salat, and Al Maghrib Salat, and Al Fajr Salat, and Salat of the two Eid(s), for an optional cannot be advanced in front of that’’. [13]
And from him, by the previous chain from Zureyq, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘When the dawn emerges, there is no optional Salat, and when the sun declines on the day of Friday, there is no optional Salat, and that is because the day of Friday is a restrictive day and companions of Rasool-Allah-saww used to prepare for the Friday (from) the day of Thursday due to the restrictive timing’’.
