Hadith 25

Then they said, ‘Another Ziyarat of both of them-asws together – ‘Say, ‘The greeting be upon you-asws O Guardians of Allah-azwj! The greeting be upon you-asws O Divine Authorities of Allah-azwj! The greeting be upon you-asws O lights of Allah-azwj in the darkness of the earth! I testify you-asws have both delivered on behalf of Allah-azwj what He-azwj had Loaded you-asws with, and you-asws protected what He-azwj had Entrusted you-asws, and you-asws permitted the Permissible of Allah-azwj and prohibited the Prohibitions of Allah-azwj, and you-asws established the legal penalties of Allah-azwj, and you-asws recited the Book of Allah-azwj and were patient upon the harm in the Side of Allah-azwj in anticipation until the certainty (death) came to you-asws! I disavow to Allah-azwj from your-asws enemies and I draw closer to Allah-azwj through your-asws Wilayah! I have come as a visitor recognising your-asws right, a friend to your-asws friend and an enemy to your-asws enemies, insightful with the guidance which you-asws are upon, recognising the straying of the ones opposing you-asws, so intercede for me in the Presence of Your-azwj Lord-azwj, for there is mighty honour for you-asws in the Presence of Allah-azwj and a praiseworthy position! ’
Then kiss the soil and place the right cheek upon it and transfer to be by the head, and say, ‘The greeting be upon you-asws both, O Divine Authorities of Allah-azwj in His-azwj earth and His-azwj sky! You-azwj servant and your-asws friend is visiting you-asws and drawing closer to Allah-azwj by visiting you-asws! O Allah-azwj! Make a truthful tongue to be for me among Your-azwj Chosen Guardians, and Make their Mausoleums beloved to me, and Make me to be with them-asws in the world and the Hereafter, O the most Merciful of the merciful ones! ’
Then pray two units for Ziyarat of each Imam-asws and supplicate with whatever you like. When you intend to leave, bid farewell to them-asws and say, after having paused similar to the first pausing, ‘The greeting be upon you-asws O Guardians of Allah-azwj! I entrust you-asws to Allah-azwj and convey the greeting to you-asws believing in Allah-azwj and the Rasool-saww, and with what you-asws had come with and pointed to! O Allah-azwj! Write us with the testifiers! O Allah-azwj! Do not Make is last of the pacts of my visiting them-asws, and Grace me their-asws friendship, and Gather me with them-asws, and Benefit me with their-asws love, and the greeting be upon you-asws both, and Mercy of Allah-azwj and His-azwj Blessings! ’’[36]
