فس، تفسير القمي وَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ فَإِنَّهَا نَزَلَتْ فِي الْمُنَافِقِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ مَنْ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ شَيْئاً مِنْهُ لَمْ يُؤْمِنْ بِهِ وَ لَمْ يَعِهِ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ قَالَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ما ذا قالَ مُحَمَّدٌ آنِفاً فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أُولئِكَ الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَ اتَّبَعُوا أَهْواءَهُمْ. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ وُهَيْبِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص كَانَ يَدْعُو أَصْحَابَهُ فَمَنْ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْراً سَمِعَ وَ عَرَفَ مَا يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ وَ مَنْ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهِ شَرّاً طَبَعَ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ فَلَا يَسْمَعُ وَ لَا يَعْقِلُ وَ هُوَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى حَتَّى إِذا خَرَجُوا مِنْ عِنْدِكَ قالُوا لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ ما ذا قالَ آنِفاً
فَإِنَّهَا نَزَلَتْ فِي الْمُنَافِقِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَ مَنْ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ شَيْئاً مِنْهُ لَمْ يُؤْمِنْ بِهِ وَ لَمْ يَعِهِ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ قَالَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَا ذَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ آنِفاً فَقَالَ أُولئِكَ الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَ اتَّبَعُوا أَهْواءَهُمْ.
Tafseer Al Qummi – And from them are ones who listen intently to you [47: 16], it was Revealed regarding the hypocrites from the companions of Rasool-Allah-saww, and the one who, whenever he heard something from him-saww, did not believe in it and did not retain it. So, when he went out, he said to the hypocrites, ‘What is that he – Muhammad-saww – said just now? ’ Allah-azwj Said: They are those Allah has Sealed upon their hearts, and they are pursuing their whims [47: 16]’’. (An opinion)
It is narrated to us by Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Sabit, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from Wuheyb Bin Hafs, from Abu Baseer, ‘From Abu Ja’far-asws, he (the narrator) said, ‘I heard him-asws saying: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww used to call his-saww companions, so the one whom Allah-azwj Wanted good with him, heard and recognised what he was being called to, and the one whom Allah-azwj Wanted evil with him, Sealed upon his hear, so he would neither listen nor understand, and it is the Word of Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted: until when they exit from your presence, so they are saying to the one Given the Knowledge, ‘What is that he said just now? ’ [47: 16]. It was Revealed regarding the hypocrites from companions of Rasool-Allah-saww, and one who, when he heard something from him-saww did not believe in it and did not retain it. When he went out he said to the hypocrites, ‘What is that which Rasool-Allah-saww said just now? ’ He-azwj Said: They are those Allah has Sealed upon their hearts, and they are pursuing their whims [47: 16]’’.
