Hadith 180

 (The book) ‘Al Majalis’ of Al Mufeed – Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Ja’far Bin Abdullah Al Muhammady, from Yahya Bin Hashim, from Yahya Bin Sa’alba Al Ansary, from Aasim Bin Abu Al Najoud, from Zirr Bin Hubeysh, from Abdullah Bin Masoud who said, ‘We were with the Prophetsaww in one of hisasws journeys when a Bedouin called out at us with a loud voice. He said, ‘O Muhammadsaww! ’ The Prophetsaww said to him: ‘What do you want? ’ He said, ‘(What about) the person who loves the people and does not act with their deeds? ’ Hesaww said: ‘The person would be with the one he loves’. He said, ‘O Muhammadsaww! Present to me’. Hesaww said: ‘Testify that there is no god except Allahazwj, and Isaww am a Rasoolsaww of Allahazwj, and you should establish the Salat, and give the Zakat, and you will Fast Month of Ramazan, and you will perform Hajj of the House (Kabah)’. He said, ‘O Muhammadsaww! Do yousaww take any recompense upon this? ’ Hesaww said: ‘No, except cordiality regarding the ones of kinship’. He said, ‘My relatives or yoursaww relatives? ’ Hesaww said: ‘But, mysaww relatives’. He said, ‘Give yoursaww hand until I pledge allegiance to yousaww. There is no good in the ones who are cordial to yousaww and are not cordial to yoursaww relatives’’. [183]
