ن، عيون أخبار الرضا عليه السلام تَمِيمٌ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مِيثَمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أُمِّي تَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ نَجْمَةَ أُمَّ الرِّضَا ع تَقُولُ لَمَّا حَمَلْتُ بِابْنِي عَلِيٍّ لَمْ أَشْعَرْ بِثِقْلِ الْحَمْلِ وَ كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ فِي مَنَامِي تَسْبِيحاً وَ تَهْلِيلًا وَ تَمْجِيداً مِنْ بَطْنِي فَيُفْزِعُنِي ذَلِكَ وَ يَهُولُنِي فَإِذَا انْتَبَهْتُ لَمْ أَسْمَعْ شَيْئاً
فَلَمَّا وَضَعْتُهُ وَقَعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ وَاضِعاً يَدَهُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ رَافِعاً رَأْسَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ يُحَرِّكُ شَفَتَيْهِ كَأَنَّهُ يَتَكَلَّمُ فَدَخَلَ إِلَيَّ أَبُوهُ مُوسَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ع فَقَالَ لِي هَنِيئاً لَكِ يَا نَجْمَةُ كَرَامَةُ رَبِّكَ
فَنَاوَلْتُهُ إِيَّاهُ فِي خِرْقَةٍ بَيْضَاءَ فَأَذَّنَ فِي أُذُنِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَ أَقَامَ فِي الْيُسْرَى وَ دَعَا بِمَاءِ الْفُرَاتِ فَحَنَّكَهُ بِهِ ثُمَّ رَدَّهُ إِلَيَّ وَ قَالَ خُذِيهِ فَإِنَّهُ بَقِيَّةُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فِي أَرْضِهِ.
(The book) ‘Uyoon Akhbar Al-Reza-asws’ – Tameem Al Qureyshy, from his father, from Ahmad Al Ansary, from Ali Bin Meesam, from his father who said, ‘I heard my mother saying, ‘I heard Najma-as, mother-as of Al-Reza-asws saying, ‘When I-asws axcepting my-asws son-asws Ali-asws, I-as was not aware of the weight of in my lap, and I-as used to hear in my-as dream, glorification, and extollations of Holiness, and Praises (of Allah-azwj) from within me-asws. That alarmed me-asws and it terrified me-as. When I-as woke up, I-as did not hear anything. When I-as had placed him-asws, he-asws fell to the ground placing his-asws hands upon the earth, raising his-asws head towards the sky, moving his-asws lips, as if he-asws was talking. His-asws father Musa-asws Bin Ja’far-asws entered. He-asws said to me-as: ‘Congratulations to you-as, O Najma-as, of the prestige of your-as Lord-azwj! ’
I-as gave him-asws to him-asws (wrapped) in a white cloth. He-asws proclaimed Azaan in his-asws right ear and Iqaamah in the left, and he-asws called for the water of Euphrates and washed him-asws with it. Then he-asws returned him-asws to me-as and said: ‘Take him-asws, for he-asws is a remainder of Allah-azwj the Exalted in His-azwj earth’’. [16]
