Hadith 24

(The book) ‘Uyoon Akhbar Al-Reza-asws’ – Ibn Al Waleed, from Al Saffar, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ibn Mahboub, and Usman Bin Isa, from Husayn Bin Nueym Al Sahhaf who said, ‘I and Hisham Bin Al-Hakam and Ali Bin Yaqteen were at Baghdad. Ali Bin Yaqteen said, ‘I was seated in the presence of Al-Abd Al-Salih Musa-asws Bin Ja’far-asws, and his-asws son-asws Al-Reza-asws entered to see him-asws. He-asws said: ‘O Ali! This is chief of my-asws children, and I-asws assumed my-asws teknonym to be for him-asws’. Hisham struck his forehead with his palm, then said, ‘Woe be to you! How can you say so? ’ Ali Bin Yaqteen said, ‘By Allah-azwj! I heard from him-asws just as I said to you! ’ Hisham said, ‘By Allah-azwj! The command would be in him-asws, from after him-asws’’. [27]
