ك، إكمال الدين مَاجِيلَوَيْهِ وَ ابْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ وَ الْعَطَّارُ جَمِيعاً عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رِيَاحٍ الْبَصْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْعَمْرِيِّ قَالَ لَمَّا وُلِدَ السَّيِّدُ ع قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ ع ابْعَثُوا إِلَى أَبِي عَمْرٍو فَبُعِثَ إِلَيْهِ فَصَارَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ اشْتَرِ عَشَرَةَ آلَافِ رِطْلٍ خُبْزاً وَ عَشَرَةَ آلَافِ رِطْلٍ لَحْماً وَ فَرِّقْهُ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ عَلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ وَ عُقَّ عَنْهُ بِكَذَا وَ كَذَا شَاةً.
(The book) ‘Ikmal Al Deen’ – Majaylawiya and Ibn Al Mutawakkil and Al Attar, altogether from Is’haq Bin Riyah Al Basry, from Abu Ja’far Al Amry who said, ‘When the Master-ajfj was blessed (to his-ajfj parents-asws), Abu Muhammad-asws said: ‘Send for Abu Amro! ’ He was sent for. He came to him-asws. He-asws said: ‘But ten thousand Ratl of bread, and ten thousand Ratl meat, and distribute it! ’ I reckon the clan of Hashim-as said, ‘And he-asws performed Aqeeqa with such and such (number of) sheep’’.
