Hadith 27

(The book) ‘Al Majaalis’ of Al Mufeed – from Ibn Qawlawiya, from his father, from Sa’ad, from Ibn Isa, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Abdul Kareem Bin Amro, and Ibrahim Bin Naha Al Basri, both together said, ‘It is narrated to us by Muyassir who said, ‘Abu Abdullah Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws said to me: ‘What are you-asws saying regarding the one who does not disobey Allah-azwj in His-azwj Commands and His-azwj Prohibitions, except he disavows from you and from your companions upon this matter (Al-Wilayah)? ’
He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘And what can I possibly be saying and I am in your-asws presence? ’
He-asws said: ‘Say (it), for I-asws am the one who is ordering you to say! ’
He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘He would be in the Fire’. He-asws said: ‘O Muyassir! What are you saying regarding the one makes it a religion with what you are making it with, and in him are the sins what are in the people, except that he shuns the major sins? ’
He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘And what can I possibly be saying and I am in your-asws presence? ’
He-asws said: ‘Say (it), for I-asws am the one who is ordering you to say! ’
He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘In the Paradise’. He-asws said: ‘Perhaps you hesitated in saying he would be in the Paradise’. He (the narrator) said, ‘No’. He-asws said: ‘Do not hesitate, for surely, he will be in the Paradise. Allah-azwj Says: If you shun the major sins which you are Forbidden from, We will Remove your (small) sins and Cause you to enter an honourable place of entering [4: 31]’’. [31]
