تَفْسِيرُ النُّعْمَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ع فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصارِهِمْ وَ يَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ذلِكَ أَزْكى لَهُمْ مَعْنَاهُ لَا يَنْظُرُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى فَرْجِ أَخِيهِ الْمُؤْمِنِ أَوْ يُمَكِّنُهُ مِنَ النَّظَرِ إِلَى فَرْجِهِ
ثُمَّ قَالَ قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِناتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصارِهِنَّ وَ يَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَ أَيْ مِمَّا يُلْحِقُهُنَّ مِنَ النَّظَرِ كَمَا جَاءَ فِي حِفْظِ الْفُرُوجِ فَالنَّظَرُ سَبَبُ إِيقَاعِ الْفِعْلِ مِنَ الزِّنَا وَ غَيْرِهِ.
Tafseer Al Numani –
‘From Ali-asws regarding Words of Mighty and Majestic: Say to the Momineen to cast down their eyes and preserve their private parts, that is purer for them, [24: 30]: ‘It’s meaning is, not one of you should look at the private parts of his Momin brother or enable him from looking at his private part’. Then he-asws said: ‘Say to the Momineen to cast down their eyes and preserve their private parts, [24: 30] – i. e. , from what they catch from the looking, like what has come regarding protection of the private parts. The looking is a cause of falling into the action, from the adultery and other such’’. [281]
