Bihar al-Anwar · Allamah al-Majlisi
الْمُقْنِعُ، رُوِيَ لَيْسَ عَلَى صَاحِبِ الصَّيْدِ تَقْصِيرٌ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ فَإِذَا جَازَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ فَعَلَيْهِ التَّقْصِيرُ. بيان: وَ يُؤَيِّدُهُ مَا رَوَاهُ الشَّيْخُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَتَصَيَّدُ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ يَدُورُ حَوْلَهُ فَلَا يُقَصِّرُ وَ إِنْ كَانَ تَجَاوَزَ الْوَقْتَ فَلْيُقَصِّرْ
وَ رَوَاهُ الصَّدُوقُ أَيْضاً فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عِيصِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْهُ ع.
(The book) ‘Al Muqnie’ –
‘It is reported: ‘It isn’t upon the hunter to shorten (Salat) for three days. When he exceeds three days, upon him is the shortening (of the Salat)’’. [17]
Explanation (Hadeeth) only – And it is supported by what is reported by the Sheykh (in Al Tahzeeb), in the correct (Hadeeth), from Abdullah who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah-asws about the man hunting. He-asws said: ‘If he was going around it, there is no shortening (of the Salat), and if he was exceeding the time, let him shorten’. And it is reported by Al-Sadouq as well in the correct (Hadeeth in Al Faqeeh), from Ays Bin Al-Qasim, from him-asws.
