مُجَالِسُ الشَّيْخِ، عَنِ الْمُفِيدِ عَنِ ابْنِ قُولَوَيْهِ عَنِ الْكُلَيْنِيِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عِيسَى الْقَمَّاطِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: أُرِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ يَصْعَدُونَ مِنْبَرَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ يُضِلُّونَ النَّاسَ عَنِ الصِّرَاطِ الْقَهْقَرَى فَأَصْبَحَ كَئِيباً حَزِيناً
قَالَ فَهَبَطَ عَلَيْهِ جَبْرَئِيلُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص مَا لِي أَرَاكَ كَئِيباً حَزِيناً
قَالَ يَا جَبْرَئِيلُ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ فِي لَيْلَتِي هَذِهِ يَصْعَدُونَ مِنْبَرِي مِنْ بَعْدِي يُضِلُّونَ النَّاسَ عَنِ الصِّرَاطِ الْقَهْقَرَى
فَقَالَ وَ الَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ إِنَّ هَذَا شَيْءٌ مَا اطَّلَعْتُ عَلَيْهِ
ثُمَّ عَرَجَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَلَمْ يَلْبَثْ أَنْ نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ بِآيٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ يُؤْنِسُهُ بِهَا- أَ فَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ مَتَّعْناهُمْ سِنِينَ- ثُمَّ جاءَهُمْ ما كانُوا يُوعَدُونَ- ما أَغْنى عَنْهُمْ ما كانُوا يُمَتَّعُونَ
وَ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّا أَنْزَلْناهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ- وَ ما أَدْراكَ ما لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ- لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَيْلَةً لِنَبِيِّهِ ص خَيْراً مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرِ مُلْكِ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ.
(The book) ‘Majaalis’ – The sheykh, from Al Mufeed, from Ibn Qawlawiya, from Al Kulayni, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al-Hassan, from Muhammad Bin Al Waleed and Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Yunus Bin Yaqoub, from Ali Bin Isa Al Qattan, from his uncle, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww saw (in a dream) the clan of Umayya ascending upon his-saww pulpit from after him-saww, straying the people from the (straight) path backwards, so in the morning he-saww was gloomy, sad’. He-asws said: ‘Jibraeel-as came down unto him-saww. He-as said: ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! What is the matter I-as see you-saww being gloomy, sad? ’
He-saww said: ‘O Jibraeel-as! I-saww saw the clan of Umayya during this night of mine-saww, ascending my-saww pulpit from after me-saww. They were straying the people away from the path, backwards! ’
He-as said: ‘By the One Who Sent you-saww with the truth! This is something I-as have not been notified upon! ’
Then he-as ascended to the sky. It was not long before he-as descended unto him-saww with Verses from the Quran comforting him-saww with it: Can you see, if We were to Let them enjoy for years [26: 205] Then there comes to them what they were threatened of [26: 206] It would not avail them what they were enjoying. [26: 207]. And Allah-azwj Revealed unto him-saww: Surely, We Revealed it during the Night of Pre-determination [97: 1] And what make you realise what the Night of Pre-determination is? [97: 2] The Night of Pre-determination is better than a thousand months [97: 3]. Allah-azwj Made a night for His-azwj Prophet-saww to be better than a thousand months of kingdom of the clan of Umayya’’. [15]
