Hadith 41

(The book) ‘Sawaab Al Amaal’ – My father, from Sa’ad, from Ibn Isa, from Al Ahwazy, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibn Uzina, from Al Fuzeyl and Zurara and Muhammad Bin Muslim, from Humran, ‘He asked Abu Ja’far-asws about Words of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic: Surely, We Revealed during a Blessed Night. [44: 3]. He-asws said: ‘Yes, it is Laylat Al-Qadr, and it is during every year in a month of Ramazan, in the last ten (nights). The Quran did not descend except during Laylat Al-Qadr. Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Said: During it, every wise matter is made distinct [44: 4]’. He-asws said: ‘He-azwj Pre-determines during Laylat Al-Qadr the determination of all things to happen during that year up to its similar the following year, from good or evil, or obedience or disobedience, or new-birth or death, or sustenance. Whatever He-azwj Determined during that night and Decrees, it is from the inevitable, and for Allah-azwj is the Desire in it’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I said to him-asws: ‘The Night of Pre-determination is better than a thousand months [97: 3]. Which thing did He-azwj Mean with it? ’
He-asws said: ‘The righteous deeds during it, from the Salat, and the Zakat, and types of good deed in a thousand months not having Laylat Al-Qadr in it, and Allah-azwj not Multiplied for the Momineen, they would not have reached (this level), but Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Multiplies the good deeds for them’’.
