other-asws besides being my-saww family, and my-saww Masjid is not permissible for anyone to copulate with the women in it, except Ali-asws and his-asws offspring. The one who feels and, so over there! ’ – and he-saww gestured by his-saww hand towards Syria’’. [72]
And by the chain from Sa’ad Bin Abu Waqas who said, ‘There were virtues for Ali-asws which did not happen to be for anyone. His-asws house was in the Masjid, and he-saww gave him-asws the flag on the day of Khyber, and closure of the doors except the door of Ali-asws’’. [73]
And by the chain from Al Bara’a Bin Aazib who said, ‘For several companions of Rasool-Allah-saww, there were doors opening into the Masjid, and Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘Close these doors apart from the door of Ali-asws! ’ Anas Spoke regarding that’. He (the narrator) said, ‘Rasool-Allah-saww stood up, praised Allah-azwj and extolled upon Him-azwj, then said: ‘As for after, I-saww have been Commanded with the closure of these doors apart from the door of Ali-asws, so a speaker of yours spoke. I-saww have neither closed anything nor opened, but I-saww am Commanded with a thing, so I-saww follow it’’. [74]
And by the preceding chain from Saeed – ‘The Prophet-saww ordered with the doors, so these were closed off, and the door of Ali-asws was left. Al-Abbas came to him-saww and said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! You-saww closed off our doors and left the door of Ali-asws! ’ He-saww said: ‘It was not I-saww who opened these nor closed these (doors)’’. [75]
And by the chain from Ibn Abbas as well, ‘Rasool-Allah-saww ordered with closure of the doors, all of them. So, these were closed except the door of Ali-asws’’. [76]
And by the chain from Nafie, a slave of Ibn Umar who said, ‘I said to Ibn Umar, ‘Who is best of the people after Rasool-Allah-saww? ’
He said, ‘What have you to do with that? May there be no mother for you’. Then he sought Forgiveness of Allah-azwj and said, ‘Best of the after him-saww is the one it was permissible for him what was permissible him-saww, and prohibited unto him-asws what was prohibited unto him-saww’. I said, ‘Who is he? ’
He said, ‘Ali-asws! The doors of the Masjid were closed off and the door of Ali-asws was left, and he-saww said: ‘For you-asws in this Masjid is what is for me-saww, and against you-asws in it is what is against me-saww, and you-asws are my-saww inheritor, and my-saww successor-asws, and you-asws will pay off my-saww debts, and fulfil my-saww promises, and you-asws will fight being upon my-saww Sunnah. He is lying, one who claims that he hates you-asws and loves me-saww’’. [77]
