قب، المناقب لابن شهرآشوب عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: خَرَجَتْ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَتْ فَاطِمَةُ ع وَ قَالَتْ لَا أَرَى الْمَدِينَةَ بَعْدَهَا فَأَصَابَهَا عَطَشٌ شَدِيدٌ فِي الْجُحْفَةِ حَتَّى خَافَتْ عَلَى نَفْسِهَا قَالَ فَكَسَرَتْ عَيْنَيْهَا نَحْوَ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ قَالَتْ يَا رَبِّ أَ تُعْطِشُنِي وَ أَنَا خَادِمَةُ بِنْتِ نَبِيِّكَ
قَالَ فَنَزَلَ إِلَيْهَا دَلْوٌ مِنْ مَاءِ الْجَنَّةِ فَشَرِبَتْ وَ لَمْ تَجُعْ وَ لَمْ تَطْعَمْ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ.
(The book) ‘Al Manaqib’ of Ibn Shehr Ashub – Ali Bin Ma’bar said, ‘Umm Ayman went out to Makkah when (Syeda) Fatima-asws passed away, and she said, ‘I will not see Al-Medina after her-asws’. Severe thirst afflicted her in Al-Johfa to the extent that she feared upon herself. She shot a glance towards the sky, then said, ‘O Lord-azwj! Will You-azwj Keep me thirsty and I am a servant of daughter-asws of Your-azwj Prophet-saww? ’
He (the narrator) said, ‘A bucket of water of Paradise descended to her from the sky. She drank and did not feed for seven years (no need for it)’’. [143]
