كا، الكافي وُلِدَ ع سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَ أَرْبَعِينَ وَ مِائَةٍ وَ قُبِضَ ع فِي صَفَرٍ مِنْ سَنَةِ ثَلَاثٍ وَ مِائَتَيْنِ وَ هُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَ خَمْسِينَ سَنَةً وَ قَدِ اخْتُلِفَ فِي تَارِيخِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّ هَذَا التَّارِيخَ هُوَ الْأَقْصَدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَ أُمُّهُ أُمُّ وَلَدٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ الْبَنِينَ.
(The book) ‘Al Kafi’ –
‘He-asws was blessed (to his-asws parents-asws) in the year one hundred and forty-eight and was recalled in (month of) Safar of the year two hundred and three, and he-asws was fifty-five years old, and there is differing regarding his-asws date except that this date, it is the most moderate, if Allah-azwj so Desires, and his-asws mother-as is mother of children called Umm Al Baneen-as’’. [3]
