َعَدَّ أَوِ اسْتَعَدَّ لِوِفَادَةٍ إِلَى مَخْلُوقٍ رَجَاءَ رِفْدِهِ وَ جَوَائِزِهِ وَ نَوَافِلِهِ وَ فَرَائِضِهِ وَ عَطَايَاهُ فَإِلَيْكَ يَا سَيِّدِي كَانَتْ تَهْيِئَتِي وَ تَعْبِئَتِي وَ إِعْدَادِي وَ اسْتِعْدَادِي رَجَاءَ رِفْدِكَ وَ جَوَائِزِكَ وَ فَوَاضِلِكَ وَ نَوَافِلِكَ وَ عَطَايَاكَ
وَ قَدْ غَدَوْتُ إِلَى عِيدٍ مِنْ أَعْيَادِ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ص وَ لَمْ آتِكَ الْيَوْمَ بِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ أَثِقُ بِهِ قَدَّمْتُهُ وَ لَا تَوَجَّهْتُ بِمَخْلُوقٍ رَجَوْتُهُ وَ لَكِنِّي أَتَيْتُكَ خَاضِعاً مُقِرّاً بِذُنُوبِي وَ إِسَاءَتِي إِلَى نَفْسِي وَ لَا حُجَّةَ لِي وَ لَا عُذْرَ لِي
أَتَيْتُكَ أَرْجُو أَعْظَمَ عَفْوِكَ الَّذِي عَفَوْتَ بِهِ عَنِ الْخَاطِئِينَ وَ أَنْتَ الَّذِي غَفَرْتَ لَهُمْ عَظِيمَ جُرْمِهِمْ وَ لَمْ يَمْنَعْكَ طُولُ عُكُوفِهِمْ عَلَى عَظِيمِ جُرْمِهِمْ أَنْ عُدْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِالرَّحْمَةِ
فَيَا مَنْ رَحْمَتُهُ وَاسِعَةٌ وَ فَضْلُهُ عَظِيمٌ يَا عَظِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عُدْ عَلَيَّ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِعَفْوِكَ وَ عَافِيَتِكَ وَ تَعَطَّفْ عَلَيَّ بِفَضْلِكَ وَ أَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ رِزْقَكَ
يَا رَبِّ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ يَرُدُّ غَضَبَكَ إِلَّا حِلْمُكَ وَ لَا يَرُدُّ سَخَطَكَ إِلَّا عَفْوُكَ وَ لَا يُجِيرُ مِنْ عِقَابِكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَتُكَ وَ لَا يُنْجِينِي مِنْكَ إِلَّا التَّضَرُّعُ إِلَيْكَ
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ هَبْ لِي يَا إِلَهِي فَرَجاً بِالْقُدْرَةِ الَّتِي بِهَا تُحْيِي أَمْوَاتَ الْعِبَادِ وَ بِهَا تَنْشُرُ مَيْتَ الْبِلَادِ وَ لَا تُهْلِكْنِي يَا إِلَهِي غَمّاً حَتَّى تَسْتَجِيبَ لِي وَ تُعَرِّفَنِي الْإِجَابَةَ فِي دُعَائِي وَ أَذِقْنِي طَعْمَ الْعَافِيَةِ إِلَى مُنْتَهَى أَجَلِي وَ لَا تُشْمِتْ بِي عَدُوِّي وَ لَا تُسَلِّطْهُ عَلَيَّ وَ لَا تُمْكِنْهُ مِنْ عُنُقِي
يَا رَبِّ إِنْ رَفَعْتَنِي فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَضَعُنِي وَ إِنْ وَضَعْتَنِي فَمَنِ الَّذِي يَرْفَعُنِي وَ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَرْحَمُنِي إِنْ عَذَّبْتَنِي وَ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُعَذِّبُنِي إِنْ رَحِمْتَنِي
وَ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُكْرِمُنِي إِنْ أَهَنْتَنِي وَ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُهِينُنِي إِنْ أَكْرَمْتَنِي وَ إِنْ أَهْلَكْتَنِي فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَعْرِضُ لَكَ فِي عَبْدِكَ أَوْ يَسْأَلُكَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ
وَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ يَا إِلَهِي أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِي حُكْمِكَ جَوْرٌ وَ لَا فِي عُقُوبَتِكَ عَجَلَةٌ وَ إِنَّمَا يَعْجَلُ مَنْ يَخَافُ الْفَوْتَ وَ إِنَّمَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى الظُّلْمِ الضَّعِيفُ وَ قَدْ تَعَالَيْتَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ سَيِّدِي عُلُوّاً كَبِيراً
اللَّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ لَا تَجْعَلْنِي لِلْبَلَاءِ غَرَضاً وَ لَا لِنَقِمَتِكَ نَصَباً وَ مَهِّلْنِي وَ
and my preparation, and my readiness, and my equipping hoping for You‑azwj Provisions, and Your-azwj Rewards, and Your-azwj Merits, and Your-azwj Gifts, and Your-azwj Awards! And I have come out to an Eid from festivals of the community of Muhammad-saww, and I have not come to You-azwj today with any righteous deed I can trust with nor have I diverted to any created being hoping to him, but I have come to You-azwj humbly, acknowledging my sins and my evil deeds to myself, and there is no argument for me nor is there any excuse for me! I have come to You-azwj for Your-azwj Mighty Pardon which You-azwj have Pardoned the sinners with, and You-azwj are the One Who Forgave for them their mighty crimes and the length of their devotion upon their mighty crimes did not Prevent You-azwj from Repeated the Mercy upon them! O One Whose Mercy is vast, and His-azwj Grace is Mighty! O Mighty! O Mighty! O Mighty! O Benevolent! O Benevolent! O Benevolent! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny‑asws of Muhammad-saww, and Repeat unto me with Your-azwj Mercy and Confer upon me with Your-azwj Pardon and Your-azwj well-being, and be Compassionate upon me with Your‑azwj Grace, and Expand Your-azwj sustenance upon me! O Lord-azwj! Nothing can return Your-azwj Wrath except Your-azwj Forbearance, nor can Your-azwj Annoyance be returned except by Your-azwj Pardon, nor is there any shelter from Your-azwj Punishment except Your-azwj Mercy, nor is there any rescue from You-azwj except the beseeching to You-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and O God-azwj, Gift to me a relief by the Power by which You-azwj Revive the dead servants, and by it You-azwj Grow the dead lands! O my God-azwj, and do not Destroy me with sorrow until You-azwj Respond to me and Introduce the Response to me regarding my supplication and Make me taste the food of well-being up to the end of my term, and do not let my enemy gloat with me nor let them prevail upon me, nor Enable him upon my neck! O Lord-azwj! If You-azwj were to Raise me, then who is the one who can drop me; and if You-azwj were to drop me, then who is the one who can raise me? And who is the one who can mercy me if You-azwj were to Punish me; and who is the one who can punish me if You-azwj were to Mercy me? And who is the one who can honour me if You-azwj were to Humiliate me; and who is the one who can humiliate me if You-azwj were to Honour me? And if You-azwj were to Destroy me, then who is the one who can object to You-azwj regarding Your-azwj servant, or ask You-azwj about his affair? And I have Known, O my God-azwj, there isn’t any tyranny in Your-azwj Judgment, nor is there hastiness in Your-azwj Punishment, and rather he makes haste the one who fears missing the opportunity, and rather he is needy to the injustice, the one who is weak, and You-azwj are Exalted from that, my Chief, Lofty, Great! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww and do not Make me a target for the afflictions, nor a set up for Your-azwj Vengeance, and Respite me and Relieve me, and Uproot my stumbles, and Mercy my beseeching, and do not Pursue me with an affliction upon tracks of an affliction, for You-azwj can see my weakness, and scarcity of my
