الْمُتَهَجِّدُ، رَوَى أَبُو مِخْنَفٍ عَنْ جُنْدَبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَزْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً ع كَانَ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ فَيَقُولُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضَ وَ جَعَلَ الظُّلُماتِ وَ النُّورَ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ- لَا أُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئاً وَ لَا أَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِهِ وَلِيّاً
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَ ما فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَ هُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ- يَعْلَمُ ما يَلِجُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ ما يَخْرُجُ مِنْها وَ ما يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّماءِ وَ ما يَعْرُجُ فِيها وَ هُوَ الرَّحِيمُ الْغَفُورُ كَذَلِكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُهُ- لَا أَمَدَ لَهُ وَ لَا غَايَةَ لَهُ وَ لَا نِهَايَةَ وَ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي يُمْسِكُ السَّماءَ أَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَؤُفٌ رَحِيمٌ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ أَعْمِمْنَا بِعَافِيَتِكَ وَ أَمْدِدْنَا بِعِصْمَتِكَ وَ لَا تُخْلِنَا مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ لَا مَقْنُوطاً مِنْ رَحْمَتِهِ وَ لَا مَخْلُوّاً مِنْ نِعْمَتِهِ وَ لَا مُؤْيَساً مِنْ رَوْحِهِ وَ لَا مُسْتَنْكَفاً عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ الَّذِي بِكَلِمَتِهِ قَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ السَّبْعُ وَ قَرَّتِ الْأَرَضُونَ السَّبْعُ وَ ثَبَتَتِ الْجِبَالُ الرَّوَاسِي وَ جَرَتِ الرِّيَاحُ اللَّوَاقِحُ وَ سَارَتْ فِي جَوِّ السَّمَاءِ السَّحَابُ وَ قَامَتْ عَلَى حُدُودِهَا الْبِحَارُ
فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ إِلَهٌ قَاهِرٌ قَادِرٌ ذَلَّ لَهُ الْمُتَعَزِّزُونَ وَ تَضَاءَلَ لَهُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ وَ دَانَ طَوْعاً وَ كُرْهاً لَهُ الْعَالَمُونَ
نَحْمَدُهُ بِمَا حَمِدَ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ وَ كَمَا هُوَ أَهْلُهُ وَ نَسْتَعِينُهُ وَ نَسْتَغْفِرُهُ وَ نَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفِي النُّفُوسُ وَ مَا تُجِنُّ الْبِحَارُ وَ مَا تُوَارِي الْأَسْرَابُ وَ ما تَغِيضُ الْأَرْحامُ وَ ما تَزْدادُ وَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِمِقْدارٍ
لَا تَوَارَى مِنْهُ ظُلْمَة
(The book) ‘Al Mutahajjid’ – It is reported by Abu Mikhnaf, from Jundab Bin Abdullah Al Azdy, from his father, ‘Ali-asws was addressing on the day of (Eid) Al-Fitr. He-asws said: ‘The Praise is for Allah Who Created the skies and the earth, and Made the darkness and the Light; then (how come) those who are committing Kufr are setting up equals with their Lord [6: 1]. I-asws do not associate anything with Allah-azwj nor do I-asws take any Guardian besides Him-azwj. And The Praise is for Allah Who, for Him is whatever is in the skies and whatever is in the earth, and for him is the Praise in the Hereafter, and He is the Wise, the Aware [34: 1] He Knows what enters into the earth and what comes out from it, and what descends from the sky and what ascends to it, and He is the Merciful, the Forgiving [34: 2]. Like that is our Lord-azwj. There is neither any term for Him-azwj, nor peak for Him-azwj, nor end-point, and there is no god except He-azwj. To Him-azwj is the destination! And the Praise is for Allah-azwj Who Withholds the sky from falling upon the earth, except by His Permission? Surely Allah, with the people, is Kind, Merciful [22: 65]. O Allah-azwj! Mercy us with Your-azwj Mercy, and Generalise us with Your-azwj well-being, and Provide us Your-azwj Protection, and do not Vacate us from Your-azwj Mercy! Surely You-azwj are the Forgiving, the Merciful! And the Praise is for Allah-azwj! There is no despondency from His-azwj Mercy, nor any vacating from His-azwj bounty, nor any despairing from His-azwj Mercy, nor disdain from worshipping Him-azwj. The One Who, by His-azwj Word Established the seven skies, and Settled the seven earths, and Affirmed the lofty mountains, and Flowed the fertilising winds, and Floated the clouds in atmosphere of the sky, and Established the oceans upon their limits! Blessed is Allah-azwj, Lord-azwj of the worlds, a God-azwj Who is Able! The mighty are humiliated to Him-azwj and the arrogant are debased to Him-azwj, and the worlds submit to Him-azwj willingly and unwillingly! We Praise him with what He-azwj has Praised Himself-azwj with, and just as He-azwj is rightful of; and we seek His-azwj Assistance and we seek His-azwj Forgiveness, and we testify that there is no god except Allah-azwj Alone, there is no associate for Him-azwj! He-azwj Knows what the souls hide and what the oceans are shielding, and what the chests conceal, and what the wombs fall short of (completion) and what they increase; and all things are with a measure in His Presence [13: 8].
