ختص، الإختصاص الصَّدُوقُ عَنْ مَاجِيلَوَيْهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَنِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ قَالَ جَابِرٌ الْأَنْصَارِيُ قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص مَا تَقُولُ فِي عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ
فَقَالَ ذَاكَ نَفْسِي
قُلْتُ فَمَا تَقُولُ فِي الْحَسَنِ وَ الْحُسَيْنِ
قَالَ هُمَا رُوحِي وَ فَاطِمَةُ أُمُّهُمَا ابْنَتِي يَسُوؤُنِي مَا سَاءَهَا وَ يَسُرُّنِي مَا سَرَّهَا أُشْهِدُ اللَّهَ أَنِّي حَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَهُمْ سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمَهُمْ
يَا جَابِرُ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَدْعُوَ اللَّهَ فَيَسْتَجِيبَ لَكَ فَادْعُهُ بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ فَإِنَّهَا أَحَبُّ الْأَسْمَاءِ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ.
(The book) ‘Al Ikhtisaas’ of Al Sadouq – from Majaylawiya, from his uncle, from Al Barqy, from Ibn Abu Najran, from Al A’la, from Muhammad, ‘From Abu Ja’far-asws having said: ‘Jabir Al-Ansari-ra, ‘I-ra said to Rasool-Allah-saww, ‘What are you-saww saying regarding Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws? ’
He-saww said: ‘That is my-saww ‘self’! ’
I-ra said, ‘So what are you-saww saying regarding Al-Hassan-asws and Al-Husayn-asws? ’
He-saww said: ‘They-asws are both my-saww soul, and their-asws mother-asws (Syeda) Fatima-asws, my‑saww daughter-asws, it distresses me-saww what distresses her-asws, and it cheers me-saww what cheers her-asws. I-saww keep Allah-azwj as Witness, I-azwj am at war to the one at war with them‑asws, and at peace to the one at peace with them-asws! O Jabir-ra! Whenever you-ra want to supplicate to Allah-azwj so it would be Answered for you-ra, then supplicate to Him-azwj with their-asws names, for these are most beloved of the names to Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic! ’’[19]
