Chapter on a Man Who Kills His Son, His Father, or His Mother — الحديث 5247

5247 - رَوَى عَلِيُّ بْنُ رِئَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَتَلَ أُمَّهُ قَالَ لَا يَرِثُهَا وَ يُقْتَلُ بِهَا وَ هُوَ صَاغِرٌ وَ لَا أَظُنُّ قَتْلَهُ بِهَا كَفَّارَةً لِذَنْبِهِ.
Hadith. 5247 - Ali ibn Riʾab narrated from Abu Ubaydah who said: I asked Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) about a man who killed his mother. Imam (as) said: "He does not inherit from her, and he should be killed for it in a state of humiliation. Yet, I do not think that his killing would be an expiation for his sin. "
