وَ عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ الطُّهَوِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ الْعَامِرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُدَيْلٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّ قَالَ لِعَائِشَةَ أَنْشُدُكِ بِاللَّهِ أَ لَمْ نَسْمَعْكِ تَقُولِينَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص يَقُولُ عَلِيٌّ عَلَى الْحَقِّ وَ الْحَقُّ مَعَهُ لَنْ يَزِيلَا حَتَّى يَرِدَا عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ
قَالَتْ بَلَى قَالَ فَمَا بَدَا لَكِ قَالَتْ دَعُونِي وَ اللَّهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّهُمْ تَفَانَوْا.
And from Abu Dawood Al Tuhwy, from Abdullah Bin Shareek al Aamiry, from Abdullah Bin Aamir, ‘Abdullah Bin Muhammad Bin Budeyl Al-Khuzaie said to Ayesha, ‘I adjure you with Allah-azwj! Did we not hear you saying, ‘I heard Rasool-Allah-saww saying: ‘Ali-asws is upon the truth, and the truth is with him-asws. They will never decline (to be so) until they return to me-saww at the Fountain’? ’
She said, ‘Yes’. He said, ‘So what changed for you? ’ She said, Leave me! By Allah-azwj, I would have loved it if they would have perished’’. [114]
