وَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حراش [خِرَاشٍ] قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع بِالْمَدَائِنِ فَقَالَ جَاءَ سُهَيْلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص فَقَالَ ارْدُدْ عَلَيْنَا أَبْنَاءَنَا وَ أَرِقَّاءَنَا فَإِنَّمَا خَرَجُوا تَعَوُّذاً بِالْإِسْلَامِ
فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص لَا تَنْتَهُونَ يَا مَعْشَرَ قُرَيْشٍ حَتَّى يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ رَجُلًا امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ لِلْإِيمَانِ يَضْرِبُ رِقَابَكُمْ عَلَى الدِّينِ.
And by his chain, from Rabie Bin Harash who said, ‘Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws addressed us at Al-Medina. He-asws said: ‘Suheyl Bin Amro came to Rasool-Allah-saww and said, ‘Return to us our sons, and our slaves, for rather they went out seeking refuge with ’. The Prophet-saww said: ‘You will not achieve guidance, O community of Quraysh, until Allah-azwj Sends a man whose heart Allah-azwj has Tested for the Eman, striking your necks upon the religion’’. [177]
