وَ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ع قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ لُعِنَ أَهْلُ الْجَمَلِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ مُؤْمِناً فَقَالَ ع وَيْلَكَ مَا كَانَ فِيهِمْ مُؤْمِنٌ
ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ لَوْ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً قَتَلَ مُؤْمِناً وَاحِداً لَكَانَ شَرّاً عِنْدِي مِنْ حِمَارِي هَذَا وَ أَوْمَى بِيَدِهِ إِلَى حِمَارٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ.
And from Yusuf Bin Kuleyb Al Masoudy who said, ‘It is narrated to us by Abu Malik, from Abdullah Bin Ata’a, ‘From Abu Ja’far Muhammad-asws Bin Ali-asws having said: ‘Ali-asws cursed the people of the camel’. A man said, ‘O Amir Al-Momineen-asws! Except the one from them who was a Momin’. He-asws said: ‘Woe be unto you! There was no Momin among them’’. Then Abu Ja’far-asws said: ‘If Ali-asws had even killed one Momin, it would be eviler in my-asws presence that this donkey of mine-asws’, and he-asws gestured by his-asws hand towards a donkey in front of him-asws’’.
