Hadith 24

(The book) ‘Kamil Al Ziyaraat’ – My father and a group of elders, from Sa’ad, from Muhammad Bin Yahya Al Muazy, from Al-Hassan Bin Musa Al Asamma, from Amro, from Jabir, ‘From Muhammad-asws Bin Ali-asws having said: ‘When Al-Husayn-asws thought of going out of Al-Medina, the womenfolk of the clan of Abdul Muttalib-as. So, they gathered for the lamentation until Al-Husayn-asws walked among them. He-asws said: ‘I-asws adjure you all with Allah-azwj! If you were to reveal this matter, it would be (an act of) disobedience to Allah-azwj and His-azwj Rasool-saww’. The womenfolk of the clan of Abdul Muttalib-as said to him-asws, ‘So for whom shall we lament and cry, for with us it is a day like the day Rasool-Allah-saww, and Ali-asws, and (Syeda) Fatima‑asws, and (Syeda) Ruqayya-asws, and (Syeda) Zainab-asws, and (Syeda) Umm Kulsoom-asws die. We adjure you-asws with Allah-azwj! May Allah-azwj Make us to be sacrificed for you-asws from the death! O beloved of the righteous from the people of the graves! ’
And one of his-asws aunts came and she said, ‘I testify, O Husayn-asws, I have heard the lamenters of the Jinn lamenting you-asws and they were saying, ‘And if from the clan of Hashim-as are killed at Al-Taff (Karbala), the necks of Quraysh would be humiliated and be disgraced. The beloved of Rasool-Allah-saww wasn’t immoral. Your-asws calamities clarified the noses (pride) and cleared’. And they said as well, ‘Cry (for) Husayn-asws, chief, and for his-asws killing the hair became grey, and for his-asws killed you were shaken, and for his-asws killer the moon was eclipsed, and the horizons of the sky reddened from the evening to the pre-dawn and the sun changed the city with them, and the land was darkened. That is a son-asws of (Syeda) Fatima-asws, the creatures and the mortals are in calamity with him-asws. You inherited the disgrace by it, the noses (pride) cut off, along with the exposure’’. [40]
