Hadith 139

(The book) ‘Al Irshad’ – Ibn Qawlawiya, from Al Kulayni, from Al Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Musafir who said, ‘When Haroun Bin Al-Musayyab wanted to fight Muhammad Bin Ja’far, Abu Al-Hassan-asws said: ‘Go to him and say: ‘Do not go out tomorrow morning, for if you were to go out tomorrow morning, you will be defeated, and your companions would be killed’. And if he says to you, ‘From where did you know this? ’ Say, ‘I saw in the dream’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I came to him and said to him, ‘May I be sacrificed for you! Do not go out tomorrow, for if you were to go out, you will be defeated, and your companions would be killed’. He said to me, ‘From where did you know this? ’ I said, ‘I saw in the dream’. He said (mockingly), ‘The servant sleeps but does not even wash his backside’. Then he went out and was defeated, and his companions were killed’’. [147]
