يج، الخرائج و الجرائح رَوَى مُسَافِرٌ قَالَ: أَمَرَ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ ع حِينَ أُخْرِجَ بِهِ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ع أَنْ يَنَامَ عَلَى بَابِهِ فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ أَبَداً مَا دَامَ حَيّاً إِلَى أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ خَبَرُهُ
قَالَ فَكُنَّا نَفْرُشُ فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ فِي الدِّهْلِيزِ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ فَيَنَامُ فَإِذَا أَصْبَحَ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ وَ كُنَّا رُبَّمَا خَبَأْنَا الشَّيْءَ مِنْهُ مِمَّا يُؤْكَلُ فَيَجِيءُ وَ يُخْرِجُهُ وَ يُعْلِمُنَا أَنَّهُ عَلِمَ بِهِ مَا كَانَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُخْبَأُ مِنْهُ
فَلَمَّا كَانَ لَيْلَةٌ أَبْطَأَ عَنَّا وَ اسْتَوْحَشَ الْعِيَالُ وَ ذُعِرُوا وَ دَخَلَنَا مِنْ ذَلِكَ مَدْخَلٌ عَظِيمٌ فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنَ الْغَدِ أَتَى الدَّارَ وَ دَخَلَ عَلَى الْعِيَالِ وَ قَصَدَ إِلَى أُمِّ أَحْمَدَ وَ قَالَ لَهَا هَاتِي الَّذِي أَوْدَعَكِ أَبِي
فَصَرَخَتْ وَ لَطَمَتْ وَ شَقَّتْ وَ قَالَتْ مَاتَ سَيِّدِي فَكَفَّهَا وَ قَالَ لَا تَتَكَلَّمِي حَتَّى يَجِيءَ الْخَبَرُ فَدَفَعَتْ إِلَيْهِ سَفَطاً.
(The book) ‘Al Kharaij Wa Al Jaraih’ – It is reported by Musafir who said, ‘Abu Ibrahim (Musa-asws Bin Jafar-asws), when he-asws was taken with (by Haroun Al-Rasheed), instructed Abu Al-Hassan (Al-Reza-asws) that he-asws sleeps at his-asws door during every night, forever, for as long as he-asws is alive, until his-asws news comes to him-asws. He (the narrator) said, ‘We used to furnish (a bed) during every night for Abu Al-Hassan-asws at the door. Then he-asws would come after the last Al-Isha (Salat), and he-asws would sleep. When it would be the morning, he-asws would leave to go to his-asws house. And sometimes we would hide something from him-asws, from what he-asws would eat, so he-asws would come and extract it and we would know that he-asws was knowing with it what we had hidden from him-asws. When it was a night, he-asws was delayed from us-asws and the dependants felt lonely and scared, and we entered into a grievous entrance from that. When it was the next morning, he-asws came to the house and entered to the dependants, and he-asws aimed to Umm Ahmad and said to her: ‘Give me-asws that which my-asws father-asws had entrusted to you-asws! ’
She screamed and slapped (her face) and tore (her pocket), and said, ‘My Master-asws has died’. He-asws refrained her and said: ‘Do not speak until the news comes’. She handed a basket to him-asws’’. [179]
