Chapter on the Legal Punishment for Slanderous Accusation — الحديث 5063

5063 - رَوَى اَلْعَلاَءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: فِي اَلَّذِي يَقْذِفُ اِمْرَأَتَهُ قَالَ "يُجْلَدُ" قُلْتُ أَ رَأَيْتَ إِنْ عَفَتْ عَنْهُ قَالَ "لاَ وَ لاَ كَرَامَةَ".
Hadith. 5063 - Al-Alaa narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim from Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) regarding a man who accuses his wife (of adultery). Imam (as) said: "He is to be flogged. "
I asked: "What if she pardons him? "
Imam (as) said: "No, and no honor (for him). "
