(The book) ‘Al Kafi’ – The number, from Sahl, from Ibn Yazeed, or someone else from Suleyman, scribe of Ali Bin Yaqteen, from the one who mentioned it, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘Al-Ash’as Bin Qays-la participated in (shedding) the blood of Amir Al-Momineen-asws, and his-la daughter-la Ja’da-la poisoned Al-Hassan-asws, and his-la son-asws Muhammad-la participated in (shedding) the blood of Al-Husayn-asws’’. [57]
Follow-up: The Seyyid, may Allah-azwj have Mercy on him, said in ‘Kitab Naziyah Al Anbiya’, ‘If it is said, ‘What is the excuse regarding his-asws, may the Salawaat of Allah-azwj be upon him-asws, going out from Makkah with his-asws family and his-asws dependants to Al Kufa where his-asws enemies were ruling upon it and were commanders in it from the direction of the accursed Yazeed-la authorising the orders and the prohibitions. And he-asws had also seen the dealings of the people of Al Kufa with his-asws father-asws and his-asws brother-asws, may the Salawaat of Allah-azwj be upon them-asws, and they were treacherous, betrayers. And how come his-asws thinking opposed the thinking of the entirety of his-asws advisers regarding the going out. And Ibn Abbas had indicated with turning away from the going out and limit the damage in it. And when Ibn Umar bade him-asws farewell, said to him-asws, ‘I entrust you-asws to Allah-azwj from being killed’, to other than that from the ones who spoke regarding this subject. Then, when he-asws knew of Muslim-asws Bin Aqeel-asws having been killed, having sent him-ra as a pioneer of his-asws, how come he-ra had not come back. And he-asws knew the deceptions of the people and he-asws had discerned the tricks and the plots, then how come he-asws considered it permissible that he-asws should battle the large crowd with a small number, leaving behind a lot of substances. Then, when Ibn Ziyad-la presented the amnesty to him-asws and that if he-asws were to pledge allegiance to Yazeed-la, how come he-asws did not respond to save his-asws blood and of the ones who were with him-asws, from his-asws family, and his-asws Shias, and his-asws friends, and not cast his-asws hand to the destruction, and besides this is the fear. His-asws brother-asws Al-Hassan-asws submitted the command to Muawiya, so how can one gather between their-asws two deeds, regarding the correctness? ’
The answer, we say, ‘We know that the Imam-asws is such that when his-asws thought overcome, would take him-asws to his-asws right and the standing by it with has been delegation to him-asws with a variety of the deeds obligating that upon him-asws, and even if in it there is a type, from the difficulties the likes of it to be endured. And our Master-asws Abu Abdullah-asws did not travel seeking Al-Kufa except after documented verification from the people, and pacts, and agreements, and after they had written to him-asws willingly, without having been coerced, and initiating not responding, and correspondence had happened from well-known faces of the people of Al-Kufa, and its nobles, and its readers, having forwarded to him-asws during the days of Muawiya and after the event of the reconciliation between him and Al-Hassan-asws. He-asws pushed them away and said in the response what had obligated. Then they wrote to him-asws after the expiry of Al-Hassan-asws, and Muawiya had remained. He-asws promised them and made them wish; and the days of Muawiya were difficult, the likes of which cannot be coveted. When Muawiya died and the letters were re-written, and they manifested the obedience, and they reiterated the request and the desire, and he-asws saw their strength based upon what had happened immediately from the direction of Yazeed-la, and their obsession to be against him-la, and his-la weakness from them was what strengthened in his-asws thinking that the travelling, it is obligated to do what he-asws did, from the due diligence and the reasoning. And it did not take place in his-asws calculation that people would betray some of them and weaken the people of the truth from helping him-asws and they would agree, what was agreed from the strange matters, for when Muslim-asws Bin Aqeel-asws had entered Al-Kufa, he-asws took the allegiance upon a lot of its people. And when Ubeydullah-la Bin Ziyad-la arrived at it, and he-la had heard the news of Muslim-ra and his-ra having entered Al-Kufa and his-asws lodging in the house of Hany Bin Urwah Al-Murady-ra, based upon what is explained in the biography, and Share
