وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْغُدُوِّ وَ الْآصَالِ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْأَزْمَانِ وَ الْأَحْوَالِ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي قَفْرِ أَرْضِكَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ
إِلَهِي صَلَّيْنَا خَمْسَنَا وَ حَصَّنَّا فُرُوجَنَا وَ صُمْنَا شَهْرَنَا وَ أَطَعْنَاكَ رَبَّنَا وَ أَدَّيْنَا زَكَاةَ رُءُوسِنَا طَيِّبَةً بِهَا نُفُوسُنَا وَ خَرَجْنَا إِلَيْكَ لِأَخْذِ جَوَائِزِنَا
فَصَلِّ اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ لَا تُخَيِّبْنَا وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيْنَا بِالتَّوْبَةِ وَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ وَ لَا تَرُدَّنَا عَلَى عَقِبِنَا وَ لا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنا وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنَّا وَ ارْزُقْنَا صِيَامَهُ وَ قِيَامَهُ أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنَا وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيْنَا بِالْجَنَّةِ وَ نَجِّنَا مِنَ النَّارِ وَ زَوِّجْنَا مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ- إِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى خِيَرَتِهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ- مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً. بيان: وَ رُوِيَ عَنِ الْبَاقِرِ وَ الصَّادِقِ ع أَنَّ السِّرَّ مَا أَخْفَيْتَهُ فِي نَفْسِكَ وَ أَخْفَى مَا خَطَرَ بِبَالِكَ ثُمَّ أُنْسِيتَهُ. وَ قُلْ مَا رَوَيْنَا بِإِسْنَادِنَا إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِذَا فَرَغْتَ مِنْ دُعَاءِ الْعِيدِ الْمَذْكُورِ ضَعْ خَدَّكَ الْأَيْمَنَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ وَ قُلْ- سَيِّدِي سَيِّدِي كَمْ مِنْ عَتِيقٍ لَكَ فَاجْعَلْنِي مِمَّنْ أَعْتَقْتَ
سَيِّدِي سَيِّدِي وَ كَمْ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ قَدْ غَفَرْتَ فَاجْعَلْ ذَنْبِي فِيمَا غَفَرْتَ
سَيِّدِي سَيِّدِي كَمْ مِنْ حَاجَةٍ قَدْ قَضَيْتَ فَاجْعَلْ حَاجَتِي فِيمَا قَضَيْتَ
سَيِّدِي سَيِّدِي وَ كَمْ مِنْ كُرْبَةٍ قَدْ كَشَفْتَ فَاجْعَلْ كُرْبَتِي فِيمَا كَشَفْتَ
سَيِّدِي سَيِّدِي وَ كَمْ مِنْ مُسْتَغِيثٍ قَدْ أَغَثْتَ فَاجْعَلْنِي فِيمَنْ أَغَثْتَ
سَيِّدِي سَيِّدِي كَمْ مِنْ دَعْوَةٍ قَدْ أَجَبْتَ فَاجْعَلْ دَعْوَتِي فِيمَا أَجَبْتَ
سَيِّدِي سَيِّدِي وَ ارْحَمْ سُجُودِي فِي السَّاجِدِينَ وَ ارْحَمْ عَبْرَتِي فِي الْمُسْتَعْبِرِينَ وَ ارْحَمْ تَضَرُّعِي فِيمَنْ تَضَرَّعَ مِنَ الْمُتَضَرِّعِينَ
سَيِّدِي سَيِّدِي وَ كَمْ مِنْ فَقْرٍ قَدْ أَغْنَيْتَ فَاجْعَلْ فَقْرِي فِيمَا أَغْنَيْتَ
سَيِّدِي سَيِّدِي ارْحَمْ دَعْوَتِي فِي الدَّاعِينَ
سَيِّدِي وَ إِلَهِي أَسَأْتُ وَ ظَلَمْتُ وَ عَمِلْتُ سُوءاً وَ اعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِي وَ بِئْسَ مَا عَمِلْتُ فَاغْفِرْ لِي يَا مَوْلَايَ أَيْ كَرِيمُ أَيْ عَزِيزُ أَيْ جَمِيلُ-
فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ وَ انْصَرَفْتَ رَفَعْتَ يَدَيْكَ ثُمَّ حَمِدْتَ رَبَّكَ ثُمَّ تَقُولُ مَا تَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلَّمْتَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ص وَ حَمِدْتَ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ.
You-azwj is the Praise in the shade and the heat, and for You-azwj is the Praise in the morning and the evening, and for You-azwj is the Praise in the times and the situations, and for You-azwj is the Praise in Your-azwj desert land, and for You-azwj is the Praise in all situations! My God-azwj! We have prayed our five (daily Salats), and we fortified our private parts, and we have fasted our month, and we can come to You-azwj, our Lord-azwj, and we have paid our Zakat of our heads feeling good with it in our souls, and we have come out to You-azwj to take our Rewards! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad and do not Disappoint us, and Confer upon us with the Turning with Mercy and the Forgiveness, and do not Return us upon our heels, and do not let our hearts to deviate after having Guided us, and do not Make it as last of the pacts from us, and Grace us its fasts and its standing (for Salat), for ever, for as long as You-azwj Keep us alive, and confer upon us with the Paradise, and Rescue us from the Hellfire, and get us married to the Maiden Hourie! Ameen, Lord-azwj of the worlds! Surely, You-azwj are Able upon all things! And may Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon His-azwj Choice from His-azwj creatures, Muhammad-saww the Prophet-saww and his-saww Progeny-asws, the goodly, the Pure, and abundant Greetings! ’’[11]
Explanation (Ahadeeth only) – And it is reported from Al-Baqir-asws and Al-Sadiq-asws: ‘The secret is what you hide within yourself, and the hidden is what occurs in your mind, then you forget it’’. And say what we are reporting by our chains to Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘When you are free from the mentioned supplication of the Eid, place your right cheek upon the ground and say, ‘My Chief! My Chief! However, many liberations there are for You-azwj, Make me from the liberated ones! My Chief! My Chief, and however many sins You-azwj are Forgiving, Make my sins to be among what You-azwj Forgive! My Chief! My Chief! However, many needs You-azwj Fulfil, Make my deeds to be among what You-azwj Fulfil! My Chief! My Chief, and however many distresses You-azwj Relieve, Make my distress to be among what You-azwj Remove! My Chief! My Chief, and however many help seekers You-azwj are Helping, Make me among the ones You-azwj Help! My Chief! My Chief! However, many supplications You-azwj Answer, Make my supplications to be among what You-azwj Answer! My Chief! My Chief, and Mercy my Sajdah among the prostrators, and Mercy my tears among the crying ones, and Mercy my beseeching among the beseeching from the beseeching ones! My Chief! My Chief, and however many poor ones You-azwj have Enriched, Make my poverty among what You-azwj Enrich! My Chief! My Chief! Mercy my supplication among the beseechers! My Chief and my God-azwj! I have been evil, and have been unjust, and I have done evil deeds, and I acknowledge my sins, and evil of what I have done, so Forgive me, O my Master! Yes, O Benevolent! Yes, O Mighty! Yes, O Beautiful! ’
When You-azwj are free and leave, raise your hands, then praise Your-azwj Lord-azwj, then say whatever you are able upon, and greet unto the Prophet-azwj, and praise Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted, and the Praise is for Allah-azwj, Lord-azwj of the worlds! ’’
