وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ع مَرَّ فِي أَرْضِ كَرْبَلَاءَ وَ هُوَ رَاكِبٌ فَرَساً فَعَثَرَتْ بِهِ وَ سَقَطَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَ شُجَّ رَأْسُهُ وَ سَالَ دَمُهُ فَأَخَذَ فِي الِاسْتِغْفَارِ وَ قَالَ إِلَهِي أَيُّ شَيْءٍ حَدَثَ مِنِّي
فَنَزَلَ إِلَيْهِ جَبْرَئِيلُ وَ قَالَ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ مَا حَدَثَ مِنْكَ ذَنْبٌ وَ لَكِنْ هُنَا يُقْتَلُ سِبْطُ خَاتَمِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَ ابْنُ خَاتَمِ الْأَوْصِيَاءِ فَسَالَ دَمُكَ مُوَافَقَةً لِدَمِهِ
قَالَ يَا جَبْرَئِيلُ وَ مَنْ يَكُونُ قَاتِلُهُ قَالَ لَعِينُ أَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرَضِينَ وَ الْقَلَمُ جَرَى عَلَى اللَّوْحِ بِلَعْنِهِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ رَبِّهِ فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى إِلَى الْقَلَمِ أَنَّكَ اسْتَحْقَقْتَ الثَّنَاءَ بِهَذَا اللَّعْنِ
فَرَفَعَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ع يَدَيْهِ وَ لَعَنَ يَزِيدَ لَعْناً كَثِيراً وَ أَمَّنَ فَرَسُهُ بِلِسَانٍ فَصِيحٍ فَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِفَرَسِهِ أَيَّ شَيْءٍ عَرَفْتَ حَتَّى تُؤَمِّنُ عَلَى دُعَائِي
فَقَالَ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَنَا أَفْتَخِرُ بِرُكُوبِكَ عَلَيَّ فَلَمَّا عَثَرْتُ وَ سَقَطْتَ عَنْ ظَهْرِي عَظُمَتْ خَجْلَتِي وَ كَانَ سَبَبُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ يَزِيدَ لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى.
And it is reported –
‘Ibrahim-as passed by the land of Karbala and he-as was riding a horse. It stumbled with him and Ibrahim-as fell down and his-as head was bruised and his-as blood flowed. He-as took so seeking Forgiveness and said: ‘My-as God-azwj! Which thing has occurred from me-as? ’
Jibareel-as descended to him-as and said: ‘O Ibrahim-as! No sin has occurred from you-as, but a grandson-asws of last of the Prophets-as and son-asws of last of the successors-as will be killed over her, so your-as blood flowed concordant to his-asws blood’. He-as said: ‘O Jibraeel-as! And who would be his-asws killer? ’ He-as said: ‘The one-la cursed by the people of the skies and the earth, and the Pen has flowed upon the Tablet with Cursing him-la without the Permission of its Lord-azwj’. Allah-azwj the Exalted Revealed to the Pen: “You are deserving of the praise due to this curse! ”
Ibrahim-as raised his-as hands and cursed Yazeed-la a lot, and his-as horse said ‘Ameen! ’ with an eloquent tongue. Ibrahim-as said to his-as horse: ‘Which thing did you understand until you said ‘Ameen’ upon my-as supplication? ’
It said, ‘O Ibrahim-as! I am priding due to your-as riding upon me. When I stumbled and you-as fell off from my back, my embarrassment increased, and the cause of that was from Yazeed-la, may Allah-azwj the Exalted Curse him-la’’. [238]
