أَقُولُ رَوَى جَمَالُ الدِّينِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْفَقِيهُ الشَّامِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ فِي كِتَابِ الْأَرْبَعِينِ عَنِ الْأَرْبَعِينِ فِي فَضَائِلِ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ السَّرَّاجِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ص عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع فَقَالَ فَمَا بَالُ قَوْمٍ يُنْكِرُونَ مَنْ لَهُ مَنْزِلَةٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ كَمَنْزِلَتِي أَلَا وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ عَلِيّاً فَقَدْ أَحَبَّنِي وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَ مَنْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كَافَاهُ الْجَنَّةَ
أَلَا وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ عَلِيّاً يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ صَلَاتَهُ وَ صِيَامَهُ وَ قِيَامَهُ وَ اسْتَجَابَ اللَّهُ دُعَاءَهُ
أَلَا وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ عَلِيّاً اسْتَغْفَرَتْ لَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَ فُتِحَتْ لَهُ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أَيِّ بَابٍ شَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
أَلَا وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ عَلِيّاً لَا يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَشْرَبَ مِنَ الْكَوْثَرِ وَ يَأْكُلَ مِنْ شَجَرَةِ طُوبَى وَ يَرَى مَكَانَهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ
أَلَا وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ عَلِيّاً أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ بِعَدَدِ كُلِّ عِرْقٍ فِي بَدَنِهِ حُوراً وَ يُشَفِّعُ فِي ثَمَانِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ فِي بَدَنِهِ مَدِينَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ
أَلَا وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ عَلِيّاً بَعَثَ اللَّهُ مَلَكَ الْمَوْتِ إِلَيْهِ بِرِفْقٍ وَ دَفَعَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَنْهُ هَوْلَ مُنْكَرٍ وَ نَكِيرٍ وَ نَوَّرَ ق
I (Majlisi) am saying, ‘It is reported by Jamal Al Deen Yusuf Bin Hatim the Syrian jurist in the book ‘Al Arbaeen’ regarding the merits of Amir Al-Momineen-asws, from Hammad Bin Yazeed, from Abdul Rahman Bin Al Sarraj, from Nafie, from Ibn Umar who said, ‘I asked the Prophet-saww about Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws. He-saww said: ‘What is the matter with a people denying the one for whom is a status in the Presence of Allah-azwj like my-saww status? Indeed! And the one who loves Ali-asws, so he has loved me-saww, and the one loving me-asws, Allah-azwj would be Pleased with him, and the one Allah is Pleased with, will Suffice him the Paradise. Indeed! And the one who loves Ali-asws, Allah-azwj will Accept his Salat, and his Fasts, and his standing (at night for Salat), and Allah-azwj would Answer his supplication. Indeed! And the one who loves Ali-asws, the Angels would seek Forgiveness for him, and the doors of Paradise would be opened for him, he can enter from whichever door he so desires to without any Reckoning. Indeed! And the one who loves Ali-asws will not exit from the world until he drinks from Al Kawser and eats from the tree of Tooba and sees his place from the Paradise. Indeed! And the one who loves Ali-asws, Allah-azwj would Give him in the Paradise, the Maiden Houries of the number of veins in his body, and he would intercede regarding eighty from his family members, and for him, for every hair in his body, would be a castle in the Paradise. Indeed! And the one who loves Ali-asws, Allah-azwj will Send the Angel of death to him being with kindness, and Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic would Repel the horror of Munkar and Nakeer (two questioning Angels) away from him, and Radiate his heart, and Brighten his face. Indeed! And the one who loves Ali-asws, Allah-azwj
