Hadith 48

he lenient ones, and the most Benevolent of the benevolent ones, Concealer of the faults! You-azwj Cover the sins by Your-azwj Benevolence, and You-azwj Delay the Punishment by Your-azwj Forbearance! For You-azwj is the Praise upon Your-azwj Forbearance after Your-azwj Knowledge, and upon Your‑azwj Pardon after Your-azwj Power, and Your-azwj Lenience from me carried me and dragged me upon disobeying You-azwj, and Your-azwj Covering upon me called me to lack of shame and my recognition of vastness of Your-azwj Mercy and Your-azwj Mighty Pardon quickened me to be affirmed upon Your-azwj Prohibitions, O Forbearing, O Benevolent, O Living, O Eternal! O Forgiver of the sin, O Accepter of the repentance, O Mighty of the Conferment, O Described as being with the Favours! Where is Your-azwj beautiful cover? Where is Your-azwj near relief? Where is Your-azwj swift Help? Where is Your-azwj vast Mercy? Where are Your-azwj meritorious awards? Where are Your-azwj pleasant gifts? Where are Your-azwj excellent Dealings? Where is Your-azwj Mighty Grace? Where is Your-azwj immense Conferment? Where is Your-azwj ancient Favour? Where is Your-azwj Benevolence? O Benevolent! Through You-azwj and through Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, Save me, and by him-saww and by them-asws and by Your-azwj Mercy, Rescue me, O Favourer, O Beautifier, O Bestower, O Gracious, O Meritor! We are not relying upon our deeds in being saved from Your-azwj Punishment, but with Your-azwj Grace upon us, because You-azwj are rightful of being feared and rightful of the Forgiving! You-azwj Initiate bounty due to the Favour, and You-azwj Pardon the sin due to Benevolence! We do not know what we should thank for, what beautiful (deeds) You-azwj have Spread or what ugly deeds You-azwj have Concealed, or mightiness of what You-azwj have Tried and Granted, or many (dangers) what You-azwj have Rescued from and Granted well-being! O beloved of the one You-azwj are beloved to, and O delight of eyes of the one sheltering with Him-azwj and cuts off (from others) to Him-azwj! You-azwj are the good doer and we are the evil doers! O Lord-azwj! Overlook from ugliness of what is with us with beauty of what is with You-azwj! O Lord-azwj, so which ignorance does Your-azwj Generosity is not capacious of, or what length of time could exceed Your-azwj Patience? How can our deeds even compare to Your-azwj Blessings? How could we consider our actions significant when met with Your-azwj Grace? And how could the sinners find any shortage in the Mercy You-azwj have described? O the One-azwj whose Forgiveness is vast, O the One Who Spreads His-azwj Hands (Favours) with the Mercy! By Your-azwj Might, O my Chief! Even if You-azwj were to Rebuke me, I would not leave Your-azwj door, nor cease to seek Your-azwj Favour, for what I have come to know of Your-azwj Generosity and Kindness keeps me steadfast. You-azwj are the One-azwj Who does whatever You-azwj Desire to, punishing whoever You-azwj Desire to, however You-azwj Desire to, and to Mercy whoever You-azwj Desire to! You-azwj cannot be questioned about Your-azwj Actions nor contended regarding Your-azwj Kingdom, nor associated in Your-azwj Command, nor contradicted in Your‑azwj Decision, nor can anyone oppose to You-azwj in Your-azwj Management! For You-azwj is the creating and th
