e bright [80: 38] Laughing, joyous [80: 39] And (other) faces on that Day, upon them shall be dust [80: 40] Darkness shall cover them [80: 41] and disgrace! My Chief! Upon You-azwj is my trust and my dependence, and my hopes and my reliance, and with Your-azwj Mercy is my attachment! You-azwj Pour Your-azwj Mercy on the one You-azwj Desire to, and You-azwj Guide by Your-azwj Mercy the one You-azwj Love! O Allah-azwj! For You-azwj is the Praise upon what You-azwj Purified my heart from the Shirk, and for You-azwj is the Praise upon Extending my tongue (with eloquence). Is it with this weary tongue can I thank You-azwj, or with the peak of my efforts in my actions can I satisfy You-azwj, and what is the worth of my tongue, O Lord-azwj, in comparison to Your-azwj bounties and Your‑azwj Favours! My God-azwj! Your-azwj Generosity extends my hopes, and Your-azwj Appreciation before my actions. My Chief! To You-azwj I turn my desire, from You-azwj I feel awe, and to You-azwj I extend my hopes. My aspirations have driven me toward You-azwj, and my resolve is devoted solely to You-azwj while my yearning unfolds for what is with You-azwj. To You-azwj alone belongs my purest hope and fear, and with You-azwj, my love finds comfort. I have placed myself entirely in Your-azwj Care, and I reach out with the bond of obedience to You-azwj. My Master! By Your-azwj Zikr my heart finds life, and through intimate conversation with You‑azwj, I relieve the pain of fear. O my Master, O my greatest hope, and the ultimate of my requests! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww and Separate between me and my sins which prevent me from necessitating obedience to You-azwj! But rather, I ask You-azwj for the ancient (everlasting) hoping to You-azwj, and the mighty eagerness regarding You-azwj which You-azwj have Obligated upon Yourself-saww the Kindness and the Mercy! The Command is for You-azwj Alone, there is no associate for You-azwj, and the creatures, all of them are Your-azwj servants and in Your-azwj Grip, and all things humble to You-azwj! Blessed are You-azwj, O Lord-azwj of the worlds! O Allah-azwj! Mercy me when my arguments are cut off, and grows weary of responding to You, and my mind becomes perplexed at Your-azwj Questioning. O Great One-azwj, in whom all greatness is sought! You-azwj are my hope, so do not disappoint me when my need for You-azwj intensifies. Do not turn me away due to my ignorance, nor deny me for my lack of patience. Grant me because of my poverty, and have Mercy on me in my weakness. My Master, upon You-azwj I depend and rely, in You-azwj I place my hope and trust, and to Your-azwj Mercy I cling, at Your‑azwj threshold, I lay down my burden, to Your-azwj generosity, I direct my request! And with Your-azwj Generosity, O my Lord-azwj, I begin my supplication; to You-azwj I look for my welcome, and by Your-azwj Care I mend my need. Under the shade of Your-azwj Pardon, I stand; to Your-azwj bounty and Generosity I lift my gaze, and upon Your-azwj Kindness, I keep my sight. So do not Burn me with the Fire when You-azwj are the place of my hope, nor Cast me into the abyss, for indeed, You-azwj are the delight of my eyes! O my Chief! Do not Falsify my thoughts with Your-azwj Favours and Your-azwj Acts of Kindness, for You-azwj are my Trust and my Hop
