Hadith 216

Al Bursy, in the book ‘Mashariq Al Anwaar’, said, ‘When Al-Hassan-asws Bin Ali-asws arrived from Al-Kufa, the women came to console him-asws of Amir Al-Momineen-asws, and the wives of the Prophet-saww entered to see him-asws. Ayesha said, ‘O Abu Muhammad-asws! Your-asws grandfather-saww was not lost except on the day your-asws father-asws was lost’. Al-Hassan-asws said to her: ‘Are you forgetting your snooping around in your house at night without any light with an iron rod, until the iron hit your palm and it became an injury. Until now you are seeking a green bag therein, what you had gathered from the treachery, taking forty Dinars from it, counting, not knowing the weight of it, you distributed it among the haters of Ali-asws, from (the clans of) Taym and Adayy, to be healed by his-asws being killed’. She said, ‘That had happened’’.
