Bihar al-Anwar · Allamah al-Majlisi
نَوَادِرُ الرَّاوَنْدِيِّ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ع كَانَ عَلِيٌّ ع يُبَاشِرُ الْقِتَالَ بِنَفْسِهِ وَ لَا يَأْخُذُ السَّلَبَ.
(The book) ‘Nawadir’ of Al Rawandy – By his chain, ‘From Musa-asws Bin Ja’far-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws having said: ‘Al-Husayn-asws Bin Ali-asws said: ‘Ali-asws used to participate in the fighting himself-asws and did not take any plunder’’. [160]
