Bihar al-Anwar · Allamah al-Majlisi
قب، المناقب لابن شهرآشوب أَبُو الْمَضَا صَبِيحٌ عَنِ الرِّضَا ع قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع مَا لِلَّهِ نَبَأٌ أَعْظَمُ مِنِّي. وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا هَرَبَتِ الْجَمَاعَةُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ كَانَ عَلِيٌّ يَضْرِبُ قُدَّامَهُ ص وَ جَبْرَئِيلُ عَنْ يَمِينِ النَّبِيِّ وَ مِيكَائِيلُ عَنْ يُسَارِهِ فَنَزَلَ قُلْ هُوَ نَبَأٌ عَظِيمٌ أَنْتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ وَ كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع يَقُولُ مَا لِلَّهِ آيَةٌ أَكْبَرُ مِنِّي.
(The book) ‘Al Manaqib’ of Ibn Shehr Ashub – Abu Al Maza Sabeeh, ‘From Al-Reza-asws: ‘Ali-asws said: ‘There is no news of Allah-azwj more Magnificent than me-asws’’. [9]
And it is reported that when crowd fled on the day of Ohad, Ali-asws was striking (with the sword) in front of him-saww, and Jibraeel-as on the right of the Prophet-saww and Mikaeel-as on his-saww left. So, it was Revealed: Say: He is the Magnificent News, [78: 2] Which they are differing in? [78: 3], and Amir Al-Momineen-asws was saying: ‘There is no Sign of Allah-azwj Greater than me-asws’’. [10]
