يف، الطرائف أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ فِي مُسْنَدِهِ فِي حَدِيثِ لَيْلَةِ بَدْرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ يَسْتَقِي لَنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ فَأَحْجَمَ النَّاسُ فَقَامَ عَلِيٌّ ع فَاحْتَضَنَ قِرْبَةً ثُمَّ أَتَى بِئْراً بَعِيدَةَ الْقَعْرِ مُظْلِمَةً فَانْحَدَرَ فِيهَا
فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى إِلَى جَبْرَئِيلَ وَ مِيكَائِيلَ وَ إِسْرَافِيلَ تَأَهَّبُوا لِنُصْرَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ص وَ حِزْبِهِ فَهَبَطُوا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ لَهُمْ لَغَطٌ يُذْعَرُ مَنْ سَمِعَهُ فَلَمَّا حَاذُوا الْبِئْرَ سَلَّمُوا عَلَى عَلِيٍّ ع مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّهِمْ عَنْ آخِرِهِمْ إِكْرَاماً وَ تَبْجِيلًا.
(The book) ‘Al Taraif’ – Ahmad Bin Hanbal in his (book) ‘Musnad’, in a Hadeeth of the night of Badr, said, ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘Who will fetch water for us? ’ The people flinched. Ali-asws stood up and grabbed a container, then went to a distant well, its bottom was dark, so he-asws lowered into it. Allah-azwj the Exalted Revealed to Jibraeel-as and Mikaeel-as and Israfeel-as: “Prepare to help Muhammad-saww and his-saww party! ” They descended from the sky, having such a buzz for them, frightening the one who heard it. When they reached the well, they greeted unto Ali-asws on behalf of their Lord-azwj, up to their last one, as an honour and reverence’’. [163]
