ج، الإحتجاج قَالَ سُلَيْمُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع فَقَالَ لَهُ وَ أَنَا أَسْمَعُ أَخْبِرْنِي بِأَفْضَلِ مَنْقَبَةٍ لَكَ قَالَ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فِي كِتَابِهِ قَالَ وَ مَا أَنْزَلَ فِيكَ
قَالَ أَ فَمَنْ كانَ عَلى بَيِّنَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَ يَتْلُوهُ شاهِدٌ مِنْهُ قَالَ أَنَا الشَّاهِدُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ قَوْلُهُ وَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَسْتَ مُرْسَلًا قُلْ كَفى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيداً بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَ مَنْ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ الْكِتابِ إِيَّايَ عَنَى بِمَنْ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ الْكِتَابِ
فَلَمْ يَدَعْ شَيْئاً أَنْزَلَهُ اللَّهُ فِيهِ إِلَّا ذَكَرَهُ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ إِنَّما وَلِيُّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ وَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاةَ وَ يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكاةَ وَ هُمْ راكِعُونَ وَ قَوْلِهِ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَ أَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ وَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ
قَالَ قُلْتُ فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِأَفْضَلِ مَنْقَبَةٍ لَكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص
فَقَالَ نَصْبُهُ إِيَّايَ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ فَقَامَ لِي بِالْوَلَايَةِ بِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ قَوْلُهُ أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي
وَ سَافَرْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص لَيْسَ لَهُ خَادِمٌ غَيْرِي وَ كَانَ لَهُ لِحَافٌ لَيْسَ لَهُ لِحَافٌ غَيْرُهُ وَ مَعَهُ عَائِشَةُ وَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص يَنَامُ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَ عَائِشَةَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْنَا ثَلَاثَتِنَا لِحَافٌ غَ
(The book) ‘Al-Ihtijaj’ –
‘Suleym Bin Qays said, ‘A man asked Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws. He said to him-asws and I was listening, ‘Inform me with the most superior of the virtues for you-asws’. He-asws said: ‘What Allah-azwj has Revealed in His-azwj Book regarding you-asws? ’
He-asws said: So the one who was upon a clear Proof from his Lord, and a witness from him recites it [11: 17]. He-azwj Said that I-asws am the witness from Rasool-Allah-saww. And His-azwj Words: And those who are committing Kufr are saying, ‘He has not been Sent’. Say: ‘I suffice with Allah as a Witness between me and you, and one with whom is Knowledge of the Book [13: 43]. It is I-asws who is meant as the one with whom is knowledge of the Book’. He-asws did not leave out anything Allah-azwj had Revealed regarding him-asws, except he-asws mentioned it, like His-azwj Words: But rather, your Guardian is Allah, and His Rasool, and those who are believing, those who are establishing the Salat and are giving the Zakat while they are performing Ruku [5: 55]; and His-azwj Words: O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Rasool and those with (Divine) Authority from you. [4: 59], and other than that. He (the man) said, ‘I said, ‘Inform me with the most superior virtue for you-asws from Rasool-Allah-saww’. He-asws said: ‘His-saww nominating me-asws on the day of Ghadeer Khumm. He-saww stood for me-asws with the Wilayah by the Command of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic, and his-saww words: ‘You-asws are from me-saww at the status of Haroun-as from Musa-as, except surely there is no Prophet-as after me-saww’. And I-asws travelled with Rasool-Allah-saww, there wasn’t any servant for him-saww apart from me-asws, and there was a fear for him-saww, there wasn’t any fear for him-saww apart from it, and with him-saww was Ayesha; and Rasool-Allah-saww was sleeping between me-asws and Ayesha, there wasn’t any quilt upon us three apart from it.
