Hadith 62

(The book) ‘Al Amaali’ of the sheykh Al Tusi – A group, from Abu Al Mufazzal, from Ibrahim Bin Hafs, from Ubeyd Bin Al Haysam, from Abbad Bin Suheyb, ‘From Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws, from Jabir Bin Abdullah Al-Ansari who said, ‘When it was the event’, or perhaps said. ‘(When) Rasool-Allah-saww was free from Hawazin, he-saww travelled until he-saww descended at Al-Taif, and he-saww besieged the people of Wakh for days. The people asked him-saww to depart from them, for their delegation to come to him-saww, and they would stipulate conditions to him-saww, and stipulate conditions for themselves. He-saww travelled until he-saww descended at Makkah. A number of people from them arrived to him-saww with Al Islam of their people and the people and did not agree with the Salat, nor the Zakaat. He-saww said: ‘There is no good in a religion there is neither any ‘Ruk’u nor Sajdah in it. But, by the One-azwj in Whose Hand is my-saww soul! You will establish the Salat and give the Zakat, or I-saww will sent a man to you. He-asws would be from me-saww like myself-saww, so let him-asws strike off the necks of your fighters and capture your offspring. He-asws is this one’ – and he-saww grabbed a hand of Ali-asws and raised it. When the group came to their people at Al-Taif, they informed them with what they had heard from Rasool-Allah-saww. They acknowledge to him-saww with the Salat and acknowledged to him-saww with what had been stipulated upon them. He-saww said: ‘No people of a realm have been difficult upon me-saww, nor any community except I-saww shot at them with an arrow of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic’. They said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! And what is an arrow of Allah-azwj? ’ He-saww said: ‘Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws. I-saww have not sent him in a battalion except I-saww saw Jibraeel-as being on his-asws right, and Mikaeel-as on his-asws left, and an Angel in front of him-asws, and a cloud shading him-asws, until Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Gave my-saww beloved the Help and the victory’’.
