كش، رجال الكشي حَمْدَوَيْهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ أَنْ يُنْسِئَ فِي أَجَلِي فَقَالَ إِنْ تَلْقَى رَبَّكَ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ
فَحَدَّثَ بِذَلِكَ إِخْوَانَهُ بِمَكَّةَ ثُمَّ مَاتَ بِالْخُزَيْمِيَّةِ بِالْمُنْصَرَفِ مِنْ سَنَتِهِ وَ هَذِهِ فِي سَنَةِ تِسْعٍ وَ عِشْرِينَ وَ مِائَتَيْنِ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ فَقَالَ فَقَدْ نَعَى إِلَيَّ نَفْسِي.
(The book) ‘Rijal’ of Al Kashy – Hamdawiya, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ali Bin Al-Husayn Bin Abdullah who said, ‘I asked him-asws for my death to be forgotten (delayed). He-asws said: ‘If you were to meet your Lord-azwj, His-azwj Forgiving you would be better for you’. He narrated to his brothers at Makkah with that. Then he died at Al-Khuzeymiya in the outgoing year, and this was in the year two hundred and twenty-nine. May Allah-azwj have Mercy on him. He had said, ‘He-asws obituarised to me of myself’’. [169]
