Hadith 156

I (Majlisi) am saying, ‘It is reported by the Seyyid Ali Bin Abdul Hameed in ‘Kitab Al Anwaar Al Muziyya’, by his chain from Muhammad Bin Ahmad Al Iyadi, raising it to, ‘Amir Al-Momineen-asws having said: ‘The weakened ones in the earth are the ones Mentioned in the Book, those Allah-azwj has Made them-asws to be Imams-asws. We-asws, People-asws of the Household, Allah-azwj will Send their-asws Mahdi-ajfj. He-ajfj will console them-asws and humiliate their-asws enemies’’. [172]
And by the chain, raising it to Ibn Abbas regarding Words of the Exalted: And in the sky is your sustenance and what you are Promised (with) [51: 22]. He said, ‘It is the emergence of Al-Mahdi-ajfj’’. [173] (opinion)

And by the chain as well from Ibn Abbas regarding Words of the Exalted: Know that Allah Revives the earth after its death. [57: 17]. He-asws said: ‘Allah-azwj will Correct the earth by Qaim-ajfj of the Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, meaning after tyranny of the people of their governments. We Clarified the Signs for you, – by the Divine Authority from Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww – perhaps you would be using your intellects [57: 17]’’. [175]
And from the mentioned book, by his chain from the Seyyid Hibbatullah Al Rawandy, raising it to, ‘Musa Bin Ja’far-asws regarding Words of the Exalted: and Bestowed upon you His Bounties, apparent and hidden? [31: 20]. He-asws said: ‘The apparent bounty is the apparent Imam-asws, and the hidden is the Imam-asws whose person is hidden from the sights of the people, and treasures of the earth will be revealed for him-ajfj, and every far (thing) would be drawn closer to him-ajfj’’. [176]
And it was found in the handwriting of Muhammad Bin Ali Al Jubaie, may Allah-azwj have Mercy on him. He said, ‘I found in the handwriting of the martyr, may Allah-azwj Radiate his shrine, ‘It is reported by Al Safwany in his book, from Safwan, ‘When Al Mansour sought Abu Abdullah-asws, he-asws performed wud’u and prayed two Cycles Salat, then performed Sajdah, Sajdah of thanks, and said: ‘O Allah-azwj! You-azwj had Promised us upon the tongue of Your-azwj Prophet-saww Muhammad-saww, and Your-azwj Promise is the truth, that You-azwj will be replacing for us-asws with security, from after the fear. O Allah-azwj! Fulfil for us-asws what You-azwj had Promised us-asws, You-azwj do not break the Promise! ’
He (the narrator) said, ‘I said to him-asws, ‘O my Master-asws! So where is the Promise of Allah-azwj to you-asws all? ’
He-asws said: ‘Words of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic: Allah Promises those of you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will Make them Caliphs [24: 55]’’. [177]
And it is reported that it was recited in his-asws presence: And We Intend to Confer upon those who were weakened [28: 5] – the Verse. His-asws eyes filled up (with tears), and he-asws said: ‘By Allah-azwj! We-asws (Imams-asws) are the weakened ones’’. [178]
