الْمَكَارِمُ، عَنِ الصَّادِقِ ع قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً
قِيلَ وَ كَيْفَ كَانَ يَقُولُ
قَالَ كَانَ يَقُولُ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً.
(The book) ‘Al Makarim’ –
‘From Al-Sadiq-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww used to seek Forgiveness of Allah-azwj seventy times during every day’. It was said, ‘And how was he-saww saying? ’
He-asws said: ‘He-saww was saying: ‘I seek Forgiveness of Allah-azwj’, seventy times’’. [15]
