جَمَالُ الْأُسْبُوعِ، رَأَيْتُ بِخَطِّ حَسَنِ بْنِ طَحَّالٍ ره وَ فِي كُتُبٍ لِأَصْحَابِنَا كَذَا ذَكَرَ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ وَ الْحَسَنُ الْبَصْرِيُّ وَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ص أَنَّهُ قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ هَذِهِ الْأَسْمَاءَ فِي لَوْحٍ مِنْ نُورٍ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي وَ لَيْسَ بَيْنَ اللَّوْحِ وَ الْعَرْشِ حِجَابٌ
فَقَالَ جَبْرَئِيلُ ع لَوْ لَا أَنْ تَطْغَى أُمَّتُكَ لَأَخْبَرْتُكَ بِشَأْنِ هَذِهِ الْأَسْمَاءِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ مَنْ تَكَلَّمَ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ مَرَّةً بِهَا ثُمَّ كَادَ أَهْلُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ لَمْ يَقْدِرُوا لَهُ عَلَى مَسَاءَةٍ وَ مَنْ تَكَلَّمَ بِهَا كُلَّ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ مَرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي أَمَانِ اللَّهِ وَ جِوَارِهِ وَ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ لَهُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى مَكْرُوهٍ
قَالَ الْحَسَنُ الْبَصْرِيُّ لَقَدْ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُنَاسٍ سِتَّ مَرَّاتٍ فَأَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ فَلَمْ يَرَوْنِي وَ لَقَدْ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى الْحَجَّاجِ وَ قَدْ أَرَادَ قَتْلِي فَقَرَّبَنِي وَ أَدْنَانِي
وَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع وَ لَقَدْ دَعَا بِهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ ع- فَنَجَّاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ نَارِ نُمْرُودَ بْنِ كَنْعَانَ- وَ لَقَدْ دَعَا بِهَا مُوسَى ع لَمَّا دَخَلَ عَلَى فِرْعَوْنَ بها فَلَمْ يَقْدِرْ عَلَيْهِ
قَالَ كَعْبُ الْأَحْبَارِ وَ لَقَدْ دَعَا بِهَا الْخَضِرُ ع فَوَقَعَ فِي عَيْنِ الْحَيَاةِ وَ تَكَلَّمَ بِهَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ فَنَجَّاهُ اللَّهُ وَ فَدَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ
وَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع مَا دَعَا بِهَا مَكْرُوبٌ إِلَّا فَرَّجَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَتَهُ وَ لَا مَغْمُومٌ إِلَّا وَ نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ غَمَّهُ وَ لَا لِحَاجَةٍ إِلَّا قُضِيَتْ لَهُ مِنْ حَوَائِجِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ
وَ قَالَ كَعْبُ الْأَحْبَارِ وَجَدْتُ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً كَانَتْ لَهُ قَبُولًا وَ هَيْبَةً وَ بَهَاءً وَ عَظَمَةً وَ جَلَالًا وَ رُتْبَةً عِنْدَ الْمُلُوكِ وَ الْعُظَمَاءِ وَ الْأَشْرَافِ
وَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص مَنْ أَصَابَتْهُ مُصِيبَةٌ أَوْ نَزَلَتْ بِهِ نَازِلَةٌ مِنْ أَهْوَالِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ بِهَذِهِ الْأَسْمَاءِ فَرَّجَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَ قَضَى حَوَائِجَهُ وَ أَذْهَبَ غَمَّهُ وَ نَصَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى عَدُوِّهِ
وَ قَالَ كَعْبُ الْأَحْبَارِ فَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذِهِ الْأَسْمَاءِ فَلْيَكُنْ طَاهِراً وَ لْيَدْعُ بِهَا فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ وَ يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ فِيمَا يَشَاءُ مِنْ أَمْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَضَى وَ حَكَمَ وَ أَوْجَبَ أَنْ لَا يَرُدَّ مَنْ تَكَلَّمَ بِهَا كَائِناً مَنْ كَانَ
وَ لَقَدْ دَعَا بِهَا النَّبِيُّ ص يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ يَوْمَ الْأَ
(The book) ‘Jamaal Al Usbou’ – I saw in the handwriting of Hassan Bin Tahhal, and in the books of our companions like that, mentioned by a group, from Wahb Bin Munabbah and Al-Hassan Al Basry and, ‘Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws Bin Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws Bin Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws, from the Prophet-saww having said: ‘I-saww these names in a Tablet of light on the night there was ascension with me-saww, and there isn’t any veil between the Tablet and the Throne. Jibraeel-as said: ‘Had it not been for transgression of your-saww community, I-as would have inform you-saww with the glory of these names. Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Said: ‘One who speaks once with it during the day of Friday, then inhabitants of the skies and the earth will almost not be able upon an evil deed to him; and one who speak with these once during the day of Friday, or twice, will not cease to be in the Safety of Allah-azwj and His-azwj Shelter, and no one will be able upon doing anything abhorrent to him! ’
Al-Hassan Al-Basri said, ‘I had entered to see some people six times and Allah-azwj had removed their sights so they could not see me, and I had entered to see (the caliph) Al-Hajjaj-la, and he‑la had intended to kill me, but (instead) he-la drew me closer and made me approach. And Ali-asws said: ‘And Ibrahim-as has supplicated with these, so Allah-azwj Rescued him-as from fire of Nimrod Bin Canaan-la; and Musa-as had supplicated with these when he-as had entered to see Pharaoh-la and he-la was not able upon him-as’’. Ka’ab Al Ahbaar said, ‘And Al-Khizr-as had supplicated with these, so he-as fell into the spring of life, and Ismail-as had spoken with these so Allah-azwj Granted him-as salvation and Ransomed him-as with the mighty sacrifice! ’
And Ali-asws said: ‘No distressed one will supplicate with these except Allah-azwj will Relieve his stress from him, nor any sad one except Allah-azwj will Remove his sadness, nor for any need except it will be fulfilled for him, from needs of the world and the Hereafter! ’
And Ka’ab Al Ahbaar said, ‘I found in the Torah, ‘One who recites these once during every Friday there would be for him acceptance, and prestige, and magnificent, and majesty, and rank in presence of the king and the great ones and the nobles! ’’
And the Prophet-saww said: ‘One who is afflicted by a difficulty, or a calamity befalls with him from horrors of the world and the Hereafter, then he speaks with these names, Allah-azwj will Relieve from him and Fulfill his needs, and Remove his sadness, and Allah-azwj will Help against his enemies! ’
And Ka’ab Al-Ahbaar said, ‘The one who intends to speak with these names, let him be clean and let him supplicate with these during every Friday and ask Allah-azwj regarding what he desires from matters of the world and the Hereafter, for Allah-azwj will Decree, and Judge, and Obligated that the one who speaks with these will not be rejected, whatever may happen. And the Prophet-saww had supplicated with these on the day of Friday, on the day of (battle of) Al-Ahzaab, so Allah-azwj Helped him-saww against his-saww enemies, and these are
